Brothers & Sisters cast members are dropping like flies.

News broke today that Balthazar Getty - who left the show in Season Three, then returned in a reduced number of episodes in Season Four - is leaving for good this time.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed that he will not be returning, and that Getty's departure was a creative decision that will be explained in the September 26 premiere.

The fifth season-opener takes place after a flash forward of sorts, picking up one year after the tragic events of the May finale rocked the Walker family to the core.

The departure of Getty (Tommy) comes on the heels of Rob Lowe (Robert) and Emily VanCamp (Rebecca) leaving as well. Emily will briefly conclude her story line this fall.
