Blue Bloods

An Emmy winner has joined the cast of Blue Bloods.

Bobby Cannavale, who snagged a trophy for his guest-starring stint on Will & Grace, will portray Charles Rosselini on the new CBS drama. This character is the boss of Bridget Moynahan's Assistant District Attorney, Erin Reagan.

As first reported by TV Guide, Rosselini's Manhattan DA is a former cop with political ambitions.

Blue Bloods will air on Friday nights in the fall and centers around a family of New York City police officers. It stars Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg and Will Estes, among others.
