Dallas Roberts to Recur as Alicia's Brother on The Good Wife

We know a lot about the marriage and immediate family of Alicia Florrick.
But not much has been revealed about this character's parents or background on The Good Wife. Look for that to change on season two.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Dallas Roberts has signed on to play Alicia's gay brother on the ABC drama, a role that producer Robert King will shed light on "what their parents were about."
Regarding her sibling's sexual oriention, King says of Alicia: “Everybody around them thinks it’s an issue between them, but there’s no issue. We kind of like that it voids expectations of what will happen between them.”
Roberts' character will be named Owen and will be a University of Oregon math teacher passing through Chicago as a visiting professor.
Roberts can currently be seen on the new AMC series Rubicon.
