Frances Conroy to Guest Star on Grey's Anatomy

Frances Conroy, of Six Feet Under fame has been cast on Grey's Anatomy in a guest role that sounds perfectly suited for the Golden Globe winner's talents, according to TV Guide.

She will portray a patient named Eleanor who blacks out. Why?

Because, as Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes explains, Eleanor claims she blacked out right around the time she raced into a Laundromat and caught her naughty husband folding another woman's panties. Yeah, that will do it to you every time.

"Whether or not she really blacked out is an issue," says Rhimes.

Interesting. Detectives Grey and Yang will have to investigate.

I love it when they bring in other celebrities. Seth Green, Demi Lovato, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Laurie Metcalf, she played Jackie on Rosanne, and on Grey's, she was a mother with cancer and she had a 16 year old daughter. It still brings tears to my eyes thinking about that episode. Also, Alexandra Holden who was also on Friends as Elizabeth. The girl Ross dates who is much younger than him and whose father is played by Bruce Willis. She played a pregnant woman who I believes falls, and her baby dies and she has to push her baby out. Saddest thing ever. But these dramatic cases, I love them. I hate drama in my own life, but I live for make believe drama. It's the best! Can't wait to see who guest stars this year!

Guess GA is back on high-profile guest stars. What I'm loving the most is that a lot of these cases are on Mer's watch. Awesome!

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.
