Ryan Murphy Extends Glee Invite to Justin Bieber

by at . Comments

Ryan Murphy confirmed yesterday that Britney Spears will almost definitely guest star on a September episode of Glee.

Now, the creator is teasing another major pop star appearance.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, Murphy extended an invite to Justin Bieber this week. When asked if the 16-year old sensation was welcome on the Fox hit, Murphy said:

"I think he's so phenomenally talented and I think he's great. So, yes, if he was interested I would make that happen... the kids sing his stuff all day long. They sing 'Baby.'"

NO WAY! Just the possiblilty of Justin Bieber on Glee makes we wanna hurl.
Glee is such an awesome show with so many talented people already, bieber will totally ruin whatever episode he is in.
I have to turn the radio off anytime bieber comes on lest my brain start dribbling out my ears because his pathetic attempt at music is so bad it turns my brain to mush if i listen to it.
Please not bieber! It is offensive to all the Glee lovers who like proper musicians/actors to even consider having him on the show.

Too many guest stars and episodes dedicated to celebrities. I wish they'd just focus on the story!

Chill with the venom. God, he's just a kid who isn't nearly as horrible as you make him out to be. I, for one, find him adorable and actually might watch this episode.

No. Just no.

NO! .....NO!

Glee will lose so many viewers if Justin Bieber is on Glee. Including me.

Wow? Honestly, Ryan? If you are stupid enough to think the teenagers and adults that watch Glee would actually enjoy that, I don't know how I can support you. If Bieber gets slushied, I'll laugh my ass off. I'd also like to see Sue rip him to shreds. I would NOT like to see him or hear his voice, because, quite frankly, I can't tell his voice from Tina's. God forbid we support him, because the Glee fans I know ACTUALLY HAVE TASTE IN MUSIC!!! If the students sing one of his songs, I can roll my eyes, but pass it off. If he himself is there, I can't wait to see Ryan's reaction to losing [hopefully all of] his viewers.

Justin Bieber?!??!?!?! Glee is a show about a high school choir, not elementary school kids... How are they even going to portray him.

Glee Quotes

You know, a great big fat person once stood on this stage and told a group of a dozen or so nerds in hideous disco outfits that glee, by its very definition, is about opening yourself up to joy. Now it's no secret that for a long time I thought that was a load of hooey. As far as I could see the glee club was nothing but a place where a bunch of cowardly losers go to sing their troubles away and delude themselves into thinking that they live in a world that cares one iota about their hopes and dreams, totally divorced from the harsh reality that in the real world there's not much more to hope for than disappointment, heartbreak, and failure. And you know what. I was exactly right. Thats exactly what glee club is. But I was wrong about the cowardly part. What I finally realized, now that I'm well into my late thirties, it takes a lot of bravery to look around you and see the world not as it is but as it should be. A world where the quarterback becomes best friends with the gay kid, and the girl with the big nose ends up on Broadway. Finding the courage to open up your heart and sing about it. That's what glee club is. And for the longest time I thought that was silly, and now I think it's just about the bravest thing that anyone could do.

[to Finn] You know, I don't really know what's going to happen between us, but I know that you used to be the guy that would make me feel like the most special girl in the whole world, and it doesn't feel that way anymore. Now it just feels sad and confusing. And the worst part is that it doesn't even feel that bad anymore.
