He may never get a movie made about him, but Aquaman is returning to the small screen.

Michael Ausiello confirms that Alan Ritchson will reprise his role as Arthur Curry (aka the aforementioned aquatic superhero) on the ninth episode of Smallville's final season this November. The character was last seen on season eight.

Other series alums returning at some point this season will be: John Glover (Lionel), John Schneider (Pa Kent), Laura Vandervoort (Kara/Supergirl), James Marsters (Brainiac), and Michael Shanks (Hawkman).
