ABC's The Bachelor has gone back to the well of its previous stars once again, but this is a new twist. Rather than a Bachelorette reject, the new star is ... Brad Womack.
Yep, The Bachelor star from 2007 who picked no one at the end.
Brad, whose second stint as rose distributor (and the show's 14th overall), was confirmed to star on it last night during Dancing With the Stars in a controversial move.
REJECTED! Brad gave both his finalists the heave-ho. Now he's back!
Three seasons ago, he broke the hearts of both Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft, for which he was roundly criticized. This coming season, he'll get a shot at redemption.
“At first I was skeptical,” Bachelor host Chris Harrison said. “But the more I thought about it, the more I fell in love with the idea of him coming back for another shot.”
The Austin bar owner was confident he made the right choice in '07, and says that while he believes in the process, he'll follow his heart again the second time around.
What do you think of Brad Womack as The Bachelor?
