I'm sorry but I found it boring....I even found looking at Eva was boring. I know she's supposed to be this 'normal' type girl but she just seemed to wash out with the background. Maybe Chuck should go back to calling himself Henry Prince because he sure isn't as interesting as Chuck Bass.

I loved the Serena/Blair connection. I just wish more of the whole group besides Nate got to see them in action.
I feel for Dan. I would think legally he would be able to do something legally since his name is on the bc. I am also wondering if he could even say she faked a paternity test and that would get her in trouble.
While I know Blair and Chuck are going to sow their wild oats now, (hopefully Blair will soon) but I don't want to actually see Chuck fall in love with someone else. Then it won't seem like what Blair/Chuck will have in the future will be real. It seems he'll fall for anyone that is nice to him. Remember the woman he wanted to run away with from that secret club.

Oh and I'm watching season 2 on DVD, I'm up to the 'Fashion Week Episode'. How FUNNY was Blair having a meltdown in front of Dorota when she found the seating chart changed?

WHY is that JAIL GUY familar? It's driving me nuts- love Juliet's storyline.. It's what has made the start of the season truly watchable.
Love the start of the season, but I really don't know how they are going to keep the show going- It just seems like the characters are all seperated.. I miss the NON-JUDGING BREAKFAST club!! ??
oh and they need to change Blair's hair!! I agree I love Season 2 Blair, she doesn't need Chuck to be happy- I want to see her with someone else before what will be an AMAZING CHUCK&BLAIR reunion!

I don't think it's THAT surprising to see Blair have her little clique again. College may be slightly more equalizing, but I'm a college student right now and there are many, highly visible cliques here on campus.

Even though I am a huge Chair fan, I actually like Chuck and Eva together. They make a good couple and I like Chuck in this relationship. Btw, I think this season has started in an awesome way. And I love the fact that they are back in New York!!!

@TheKate ITA that the Georgina SL had a weak ending and as for Dan (who by the way I love) will start to feel the ramifications that Milo is gone because losing someone that you become attatched to is devestating!! (so I think this is where Penn could show us those awesome acting skills he has)

I think the reason why everyone find the guy in jail so familiar (I suppose he is Juliet't brother Ben that has been mentioned around for a while) is because he looks a little like Cam Gigandet (Volchek in The O.C) so every person who saw The O.C. would inmediately relate that kind of looks to someone they know.

Eva--is she going to turn out to be the kind-hearted hooker? Wow. Chuck might have lied to her but not sure he's going to tolerate being lied to!
Blair going off on Eva was a bit much--it just seemed too early for her to sink her teeth into Eva.
Blazing Juliet was pretty damn funny and unexpected (for me, at least) due to the way the promo was edited. I loved it! Good to see Dorota back to being at B's beck-and-call LOL
Lily looked stunning. I do like her with 'Charles,', and she keeps proving that she is SO out of Ruff-Ruff's league!

I don't like the fact that Chuck gets to move on and be happy after what he did to Blair. She obviously is hurt when she sees them together and is still trying to get over him. Blair is being Blair…people complain when she wasn't a bitch like she was in high school so the writers bring the bitch in her back and people still complain? I love her the way she is and Eva needs to go away, she's nice but not Gossip Girl material. In the end I will always be rooting for Chair

I only watch Gossip Girl for Chuck now, and in this episode he was the only person who wasn't acting immature.
Blair still acts like she did in high school bossing peneolope around and tearing down Eva. Though i did like her caviar pun, and her and serena moving into together.
serena.....ugh always annoying trying to talk to Nate like she never hurt him time after time.And next she is going to ruin Dan and Vanessa :( who were perfect together.
Rufus and Eric lame i was very disappointed they act like it doesn't take TWO people to have sex together. And Jenny was the one who initiated. Chuck did nothing wrong to Jenny, he really just hurt himself and Blair.
Lily was great :) she is always so just nice and logical.
The baby storyline had a lot more potential they rushed it and cut it way to short.
Still hope Chuck and Blair get back together otherwise I'll probably stop watching.
Btw the writing was a lot better in season 1 and 2 when you go back and watch.
The lack of emotion and short cutting the dramatic storylines is killing this show. I mean, I wasn't a fan of the Dan/baby storyline but it was just starting to have potential...to have Dan bond with this baby that he knew wasn't his, become meshed in this whole new life and then to have Georgina come back and rip that life away - SO MUCH POTENTIAL for Penn to have turned in a fantastic, agonizing performance that could have had us all in his corner crying with him. The loss of Milo should have spanned at least a few episodes, instead he was like, 'oh, my bad - take him, then.' Um...what? What was the point of the whole storyline anyway? Time filler, much? Same with the Chuck and Blair stuff. Excellent potential for angst and maybe even for us to love them like they used to. Instead we get podChuck spouting off cliches about his pure, innocent new honey and Blair acting like a jealous, insecure thirteen year old brat. I actually kinda like Chuck's new girl but she's a walking c

Am i the only person rooting for eva? even though she may have lied about being a prostitute and all, she is the one who really let chuck be the best around her. not as if chuck did not lie about himself either.
i love blair, but i really dont like the bitchy tactics she's using to get chuck back or try to make life miserable for him. after all, she was the one who said that she didn't love chuck anymore. why must she try to ruin everything? i want the season 2 blair back, someone who isn't still so petty and childish. obviously eva and chuck won't last, but it would be refreshing to see chuck actually happy for a while with someone else for a change. and blair too for that matter. they really need to get over each other for a while and realize that they won't be really right without each other. then they get back together. that, in my opinion, would be the best reunion ever.
but since this is gossip girl, i won't be pinning my hopes too high. ;)

This episode is a step down from the second one. I am especially baffled by Eric's apparent contempt for Chuck. I've always thought Eric and Chuck bonded and that they had a decent relationship. Also, wasn't Eric mad at Jenny for most of the past two season? How come all of a sudden he care for Jenny so deeply?? That conversation between Eric and Rufus just seemed so forced.

Pete died though, his parents forgave Serena... this seemed like a finished storyline. Where is Savage/Schwartz taking this???
