If anyone can tell me how to delete an extra copy of a post, I'd be happy to hear it.
Yes, the Chief, the dancing celebration, the moves -- so WAY excellent. He looks so good in green! :)
Well, it seems to me that Mark is taking care of Lexie. She may not realize it yet, but I think it is really significant. I agree that they belong together.
I think the April character is going to be very interesting. Remember when we first hated Addison, all leggy and fabulous... I have compassion for April and her corn farming dad and sisters and school teacher mom. She is fragile. I guess I have compassion for fragile folk. :)

@MerDer4EveR - Alex owned Lexie nothing. She wasn't his girlfriend.
Well that's not necessarily true, is it?
First of all, when Lexie flat out asked Alex if they were a couple, he said that they were. Whether he meant it or not is beside the point; he lead Lexie to believe that they were together...that she was his girlfriend.
And Lexie risked her life, and damn well nearly got shot in the process, going to the blood bank and back to get Alex the blood he desperately needed before he bled to death. She didn't have to do that. Yes, as a doctor she took an oath to save lives, but there was a crazed gunman on the loose and the hospital was on lockdown. She could have stayed in that conference room and watched him bleed to death and nobody would have blamed her for it because there would have been nothing she could do under the circumstances, yet she risked her life to save his.
So to say that Alex owed Lexie nothing just doesn't ring true. She is the reason he is still alive,

Ashley,
Your analysis is remarkable. You could be a professional like Ebert or whomever. I so appreciate the depth of your observations.
I was also very p*ssed off that Dereck is risking his and others' lives with the reckless driving. I thought it was very cool of Meredith to leave him there in jail and make good on her threat. (I hate agressive drivers!)
Calliope and Arizona (what two names could be more interesting?) I agree: YAY!!!
Chief Webber, Jackson... DAMN! uh-huh. and other stuff not printable! :)

I'm so happy the wait came to an end in a great way. I loved last night's episode. Everyone is a ticking time-bomb; some are dealing with it (Lexie, Bailey, the Chief) and others are avoiding it like the plague (Meredith, Derek, Cristina and Alex). It's going to be very interesting to see what triggers their melt-downs and healing process.
Chyler is FABULOUS. She almost had me in tears when Lexie melted down during the group session and when she was tending to the patient. Initially I was not a Lexie fan but she grew on me. SOOO very happy that they've kept this character and helped her mature. And I'm so glad that Lexie gave Alex a dose of reality. Though I understand why he abandoned her in her time of need, it does not make it right. It was very cruel to avoid her and then throw her melt down in her face as a "compliment." Alex needs to find constructive ways to deal with his pain -- stepping on the woman who helped to save his life because he was unable to save her in h

You guys are driving me nuts! I am agreeing with both sides of the argument! I also thought Lexie was being overly harsh to Alex b/c he broke my heart when he called out for Izzie. However, I also got the point that Lexie was "putting him in his place" for being a jerk (which Izzie also did). I feel totally szchizy on this issue. I have a tender spot for Alex b/c he tries so hard to protect himself with bravado and fooling around with "inappropriate women." Georgia, I don't understand what you said about Bailey. It wasn't that she couldn't keep a man -- in my opinion -- but that she was overwhelmed. He was ready to stay in it with her. She ended it. It was a VERY sad scene to me, the eye contact and pauses. I got tears in my eyes. No offense meant from me, but Bailey could have her choice of men. One reason I respect her is that she looks at "the whole picture." I tried to join in with this site, but they will not send me the confirmation. So I'm perpetually a "guest." I'm goin to Denv

I loved the episode! I agree that Lexie needed to say that to Alex! If you remember, Alex told Izzie that he appreciated everything she'd done for him and realized that he deserved more. Mark+Lexie forever!! Bailey can't keep a man, this was the perfect time for her to have a man around, someone who can at least be there to comfort her. You can't heal alone. But I feel bad for her, she's lost so many (and almost lost-Izzie, Meridith) of her interns/residents (O'Malley, etc). Idk JMO

Hadn't thought about it that way...What you said, that if Lexie hadn't said anything,he would keep acting like that..That gives me a slightly different perspective!
I still think it was kind of cruel and I would prefer if she hadn't use against him something that happened while he was so vulnerable, but I get what you're saying and you have a point!

@carolina I completely agree with you. Izzie always called Alex out and thats when he changed. He NEEDS to hear it, was it below the belt and rude? yes, does alex say things that are below the belt and rude, uh yeah. He'll learn in his own time, and he'll deal with what happened to him. right now, like most of them he is hiding.

In my opinion I definitely don't think that Lexie went too far with Alex, at all. Alex is acting like a jerk, he knows it, and lexie knows it, and everyone else knows it too. Thats Alex's way of dealing with his pain. It always has been. I think that if Lexie didn't say anything Alex would think it is okay to keep actin like a jerk, and not face his real problems. Its tough love, she did save his life..if it weren't for her and mark, alex would be dead. Alex is one of my favorite characters, and I love him to death, but he needed to hear that from Lexie. I think this is the season, that Alex is finally going to grow up, and learn to deal with his problems and emotions in a grown up way, rather then hiding behind the mean boy facade.
I too LOVED Lexie in this episode. Chylers acting was UNBELIEVABLE! She did so great, especially in her freak out scene. I do not believe that she is okay though. Not at all. Lexie has officially become dark and twisty, and that makes me sad.
I loved

I really liked the episode and I've always liked Lexie, but I'm not really a fan of her scene with Alex...
It's not that Alex was the poster boy of good behavior but,in my opinion, she went too far.I think, after all these years, that we can agree that being a jerk is his defensive mechanism.I'm not saying it's right,it's just how it is.Most of the time,no one says anything about it.The one time that he has every right to be like that,Lexie,a woman who supposedly cared for him,"accuses" him, because, while he was DYING,he called out for the woman he loved?!?Didn't like that...
Again,I'm not saying that Alex is behaving right, but in this case,he didn't deserve it.Leaving Lexie alone, during her breakdown was wrong in a million different ways. But,let's be honest,no matter how much the shooting affected Lexie,it doesn't compare to what Alex went through...
Plus, what she says about she's the one who saved him,is not entirely true. She DID risk her life to bring the blood, but the credits go most

Alex was being crude and cruel to Lexie. She saved his life, and he walked away from her during a melt down.
Had Alex treated her with at least some respect, I guess she wouldn´t have come so hard on him...
But hey, that´s Alex. He only grows when someone calls his crap out on him... Izzy did that hundreads of times, too...

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
I'm so happy Grey's back. It's a pretty good season premiere. My favorites would be seeing how the shooting messed them up. I think Meredith is in denial, she keeps on saying a change is normal and being changed from what happened is normal. That's probably why Perkins won't clear her for surgery. Cristina, on the other hand, looks like she accepted Owen's proposal so she'd be safe. I loved her "simple girl" line. Kind of true.
It looks like Arizona is still not ready to have kids. I think she just said it 'cause it was the perfect thing to say after they survived the shooting. And Mark, it looks like he still wants Lexie back and he really stepped up when he had her committed...he didn't walk away, he might have matured a little.
Alex is such an ass. And finally, Lexie stood up to him. That was perfect, telling him he was calling for Izzie and he did live because of her. He was running out of blood and she went and got more, she almost got sho

Alex was an asshole. If you have daddy and mommy issues, grow up, and move on. He's been a jerk the entire show, and you know what, life is hard, it is really f***ing hard, but him being a total dick and taking his problems out on Lexie? NOT OKAY.
Maybe if he I don't know, went to therapy, dealt with his crap, or if he wasn't a jerk I would have felt sorry for him, but Lexie had every right to tear him a HUGE NEW ONE. You don't see Meredith, who is just as if not more scarred then Alex, going around and being an ass to people.
If Alex is allowed to be a pig, then yea, suck it up when Lexie gives it right back. :)

April should just die. Or disappear. Whatever it takes to get her off my TV screen. Can't stand her.
As for Alex, he was shot. He has gone through a hell lot more than Lexie ever will. Just because Lexie reacted in a crazy way, doesn't make her more affected.

The point being we all know Alex has always been an A-hole and Life's been tough with the guy, but still Leaving Lexie in such a vulnerable stage while She Literally was the only reason Alex is walking and talking is actually Inhumane and worse he is pushing on his crudeness by complimenting her in a raunchy Alex way.. I don't like April. The fact she was around Shepard the entire show...I hate her character...let her move on to a different show. I don't want someone following him around.
