The Good Wife

Miranda Cosgrove is taking a big step in her acting career, going from Nickelodeon to CBS.

The iCarly star will appear on a future episode of The Good Wife, portraying a pop star defended by Alicia. Look for client and lawyer to bond during the November 16 installment.

“We’re big iCarly fans, so we really couldn’t think of anyone better for this role than Miranda Cosgrove,” producer Robert King told EW. “We were thrilled when she agreed to do it. It’ll be fun to see her handle both the comedy and drama in the role, and we can’t wait to see how she’ll play across from Julianna.”

The Good Wife premieres its second episode on Tuesday, September 28.
