She nearly made the finals on season seven of American Idol. Now, she's officially made it on to the most pulse-pounding show on TV.

Natashia Williams will guest star on an episode of The Vampire Diaries later this year. According to Entertainment Weekly, she'll portray Lucy, "a mysterious hipster who possesses a fun swagger." That description might be more mysterious than the reason behind Katherine's return.

Williams has appeared on CSI: NY and is best known for her regular role on She Spies. No word yet on the air date of her episode, but fans can discuss her guest-starring stint in our Vampire Diaries forum. We'll meet you there!
