Bruce Boxleitner will guest star on NCIS during fall sweeps, TV Guide reports.

The veteran actor will play Vice Admiral C. Clifford Chase, a high-ranking Navy official who turns to Gibbs and the rest of the NCIS team when his friend is killed.
