Glee Cast Members: Too Sexy for GQ?

at .

The latest issue of GQ features provocative photos of Glee cast members Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Dianna Agron, prompting us to ask a simple question:

WHY?

Glee airs at the family-friendly hour of 8 p.m. It clearly courts a young demographic of viewers.

Does the show need more buzz? No. Does it need to prove it's sexy and/or edgy? Not really, considering many storylines feature sexual references and situations already. Heck, Artie lost his virginity last week and Santana referred to "scissoring" between her and Brittany!

So, once again, we can't help but ask: why go through with this photo shoot? What's the point?

Our friends at The Hollywood Gossip have posted more racy shots of Lea and Dianna HERE. Check them out and then sound off in our Glee forum: do you have a problem with this photo shoot?

** UPDATE: The Parents Television Council has gone overboard chimed in with: “It is disturbing that GQ, which is explicitly written for adult men, is sexualizing the actresses who play high school-aged characters on ‘Glee’ in this way. It borders on pedophilia."
