This week on Grey's Anatomy, a visit to the obstetrician made for an emotional roller coaster for Meredith and Derek, while both Lexie and Cristina continued to battle their issues.

It hasn't been an easy ride for any of the characters we love (not to mention the patients) in the seventh season, a pattern which continued tonight. Are there brighter days ahead?
