Aww, look at that.  Leonard finally got his own story line this season and decided to get all dressed up for it.  The little guy looks so cute in a suit.

On this week's episode, "The Desperation Emanation," Sheldon still got the A story when Amy wanted him to meet her mother.  However, we were just happy for the little guy to get the secondary story as he invoked the girlfriend clause and had Bernadette fix him up.

During Sheldon's storyline, we were surprisingly not as annoyed with Amy this time around.  Maybe our little break from Amy has been a good thing.  The two of them were back to making us laugh, especially during their farce of a video chat with her mother.

Meanwhile, Leonard's blind date was as awkward as us to watch as it probably was for Leonard to be on.  However, between Wolowitz's J-Date joke and Leonard's consent to going to the wedding, it had more laughs than painful moments.

While it lacked any of the nerdiness we expect from the The Big Bang Theory, we thought it was an above-average episode.   Our favorite TBBT quotes after the jump.

Sheldon: Leonard, I'm a physicist, not a hippie.
Leonard: Well let me see if I can explain your situation using physics. What would you be if you were attached to another object by an incline plane, wrapped helicly around an axis.
