AJ Michalka to Recur, Sing Alongside Sister on Hellcats

Hellcats will soon be a family affair.

The CW hit has cast AJ Michalka, the sister of star Aly Michalka, in a recurring role. Look for the former to come on board in early 2011 as a girl who works at a record store near Lancer University.

AJ Michalka

AJ, most recently seen on the big screen in Secretariat, is in the band 78violet with her sister. Might her character and Aly's Marti team up for a song on a future Hellcats episode? It sure  sounds that way.

A network insider says that "a musical performance with the two is very likely."

We can't wait. We also can't wait for Hellcats to return this Wednesday with a new episode. Get an early look at it NOW.

I completely agree, having her on the show is a BAD idea. I also read somewhere that she is supposed to become friends with Marti and help her figure out who her father is....which is also leading to the rumors that they are going to turn out to be half sisters on the show.

I knew this would pretty much happen but I personally don't want it to. Hellcats shouldn't be another sister affair for these two because it just makes it seem so Disney. And anyway, AJ's acting fairs in comparison to Aly.

why does these sisters always being cast together in the same show. Boring. I wish they casts AJ in any other show. I like Aly better than AJ.
