Boardwalk Empire Spoilers: The Return of Christopher McDonald
Christopher McDonald isn't just returning to Boardwalk Empire next season. He's receiving a promotion... sort of.
The veteran actor guest-starred this year on the HBO drama as campaign manager Harry Daugherty. He recently told Entertainment Weekly he'd appear on at least three future episodes, but his character will serve as the Secretary of State under Warren Harding.
“We start all the backroom dealings, and then, unfortunately, we run into trouble down the line,” McDonald teases of his season two role.
