I hope you all see where this is going?
Juliet's brother is in prison because of Serena. She had an affair with him in boarding school while she was a minor and that's probably why he went to jail. Remember when Juliet told Colin Ben was so optimistic when he started teaching? And Lily saying that it's not the first time Serena's having an affair with a teacher, that it happened when she was in boarding school?

I haven't read the comments yet, so if someone else feels this way... I fully agree! In all of the posts, it says Blair ended things because of Anne's judgment. When I was watching, I thought it was Casey calling her "Chuck Bass's Girl Friend" instead of her own name, implying she's a nobody without Chuck is why she ended things. The minute Casey mentions getting some press for "CB's GF" you can see Blair's facial expression change. just saying, that's how I read it.

A few points:
1) Jenny swapped Serena's SIM card, not her phone. SIM cards all look alike, and most people don't crack open their phones every hour to make sure no one's switched their SIM card. Of course Serena wouldn't have noticed.
2) This entire episode took place in a day, and most of the characters spent that day lounging around the house, shopping, or playing basketball. Looks like it was a WEEKEND day, and why the hell would it be weird for Little J to be in town for the weekend?
3) Vanessa thinks Serena slept with Colin, meaning Serena got everyone to hate her over a text that basically told the truth: that S was willing to sleep with a professor. V wanting revenge is kind of a no-brainer, rather than OOC. I'm not sure it's even about Nate or Dan anymore.
4) Hell if I know Little J's motives, but Serena's been a b*tch to her for a while now, and she and Nate aren't even together anymore. But holy shit Jenny's mean. Wouldn't want to cross her in a school hallway.
5) Chuc

Right what the fuck is up with Serena, She only made it worse for herself by half admitting to the shit that she was framed for. If her brain was even half the size of her boobs she would have a) asked Dan and Nate why they thought she sent them texts and realised that someones plotting against her and had stolen her phone b) said wait a minute i couldn't have kissed Nate and Dan because i wasn't let in for the first 10 minutes using the doorman as ample proof. c) Not been so fucking cryptic with all her friends and lead them to believe she did do everything. I'm almost glad that she got drugged and kidnapped. At least juliet knows what she's doing...

I liked this episode, I really did, but man they do stretch reality an awful lot on the upper east side! :)

One great question... we all know jenny was the one that let the curtains fall for blair and chuck, and that juliet was the one that kiss dan ... but we never saw who kissed nate..... anyone think that it may be jenny who got nate (so both kisses happen at the same time) so as we see derena we might see jate or natenny

I just HAVE to say these three things:
1.Serena spent like what 5-10 minutes at the party and during that short period she was NEVER with her mask on. But she decides it's time to put the mask on when leaving the hotel? Like WTF?? ¬¬
2. Who texts to university deans? ¬¬
3. This is more a question, can you change a SIM card without changing the person's cel number? If not then shouldn't Serena received the same calls/messages that Vanessa and Jenny got with her original SIM card? If it does affect the number, then the dean wouldn't recognize that the message was sent by Serena except if Juliet has identified S. as the sender.. which I don't think she did... and of course considering that she did not put Serena's original SIM card back on the phone...

I love Chuck Bass. He's come such a long way.
I know, surprise, surprise, because which idiot DOESN'T love Chuck? But I can't believe that this guy who has matured so much- is the same one who doubt with Blair over measly bussiness stuff, grew jealous over Date bronance and swore against saying those three words for a whole episode until everyone almost went crazy. He said it easily today. I don't think I'll ever stop swooning when those magic words leave CB's mouth.
The scene where Chuck and Blair sort out their problems while making out was classic Chair. There are a lot lesser insecurities and neither flew off the handle when they had to cancel meeting up due to different reasons. It was VERY TRUE that the fact that Blair followed her heart all season got her NO WHERE social standing wise. I remember a confusion of social climbing agenda's and secret socities that never came through cuz the Basshole had some problem or the other. It was an inceredibly stiffling year for her. And C

Nice job writers of the show!Except that Anne Archibald did not think a minute once she opened her mouth, so she herslef was a reflection of a drug addict man who was imprisoned.Hate vanessa! As much as we want Blair and Chuck to be together,we cannot question Blair's reason in the last scene, it will be for her growth.. She should mature well, before getting into another relationship especially with Chuck! even though how much they love each other, she has to built herself first, and she has to prove that. She can't just live in the shadow of chuck bass and just be recognized as Chuck Bass girl friend!!HOPE FUTURE episodes will showcase how inteligent she is in school, and she can handle responsibilities already like, working in her mom's business. And maybe a recognition for herself..And how I'd love to see how Chuck would come to know all about his love of his life's accomplishments..

first of chuck and blair were amazing in this episode... they explored every avenue of their love; they were saint, sinners, lovers and a lotta steamy moments and heartfelt moments. and honestly if they are willing to wait to be together, then us chair fans can wait till the next amazing chair episode which i have a feeling wont be 4 a little bit, plus we've been so spoiled these last few weeks with the C+B action.ONTO SERENA DRAMA- ok juliet is crazy! and what j+v+j did to serena and blair and chuck was so messed up but then again this is GG lol. i love dan and serena always have but not if it puts dan and nates friendship at risk... cant wait 4 4x10.

I dont think Jenny was trying to ruin Dan's love life..i think it was more of turning him against Serena by uniting him with Nate because lets face it if those two were fighting they'd be completely blinded with lust for the girl
When Juliet was telling Lilly that Serena hooked up with her bording school teacher anyone think that teacher was her brother Ben?

This episode was great. Gossip Girl's season four is getting better and better.
I thought the venn diagram was really cute and I like that it was constantly being refered back to, but I would think an UES teenager and his boyfriend would have something better to do than to sketch out his sister's love life. So it was a bit too corny for me.
I find it every unrealistic that Dan and Nate are still closely bonded in the episode as before. They had more scenes together this time than ever. Yes they were both fighting for Serena but it was as if they had fun doing it together or something. And why would you give away your plans with her to your opponent. How dense can these two be?
I can't stop giggling at the fact that Serena was completely clueless about all that was happening in the episode. I mean, almost every single olotline refered to her and she had no idea on 90% of them. The ending I thought was a little over-dramatic. I think now is a really good time to find out what Juliet

Chuck saying "I love you" two times in one episode (three if you count the one when he told Blair he really meant it,), awesome! I think my heart melted a bit, Ed is such a great actor. You can really see the emotion in his face!
Also, is it just me or does anyone else get some sort of serialkillery/straight up psycho-wibe from Juliet? The bitch is crazy.

I think of everything that was "off" about this episode the biggest (and most notable/noticable) was Vanessa behavior, every since this season Vanessa has been trying to stay out of the drama and now, thanks to Juliet, she's trying to destroy Serena, really? Also Jenny why is she trying to take down Serena by ruining her own brother's life? Ugh I always hated her.
Also I'm very excited for the next episode, loads of Derena (:

November 16th, 2010 2:55 PM
The thing I found most unlikely is the fact that Jenny not only managed to buy an exact copy of Serena's phone and copy all of her contacts within the minute Serena would have left her phone alone (it took me 3 hours to change all the settings and add my contacts when I got my phone, and I bet Serena had more contacts than I did), but that Serena also didn't call anyone the whole day, whereby anyone she called, assuming they have caller ID, would have realized that Serena is not calling from her own phone.
On another note, I really admire Blair's decision this episode. Even though I'm a die hard Chair fan myself, I believe that her decision is the best choice for not only herself, but for her relationship with Chuck as well. Blair needs to be happy with herself before she can be happy with "Chuck and Blair." It's just who she is, and I'm glad the writers respects that for now and lets her stand up for herself even though I'm sure they will ruin it in a few episodes' time.
