This week on Grey's Anatomy, Derek takes Cristina on a fishing trip to get away from it all. He believes it'll help after all she's been through. We believe it'll be quite entertaining!
The episode is titled "Adrift and at Peace." They have the first part down, but the second may be the problem for Yang. Think the getaway will help her precarious mental state?

Owen isn't getting anyone to do anything. They all volunteered to help on their own, especially Derek. If Meredith has a problem with Derek helping, she needs to take it up with him. Also, if she wanted to take a day off from the hospital, she could do that as well. She doesn't work because she has to cover for Cristina, she works because she chooses to, she mentions in the SP that she spends her days off at the hospital, that is her choice.

I think Owen's getting his colleagues to 'mind' Cris and occupy her time cos she has made disatorous choices on her own. I don't blame Mer for sniping at Owen if she can't have a day off to be with her husband, because her 'friend' has walked away from her job and Mer's having to cover Cris' absence.
Will Cris really be transformed and cured cos she's going fishing with Der. Cris needs therapy. It will be intersting to see how big a time gap will have passed between ep 10 and 11 for her cure to take place.

Cristina is so god awful fug. I hate her this season. She's a giant beyotch. I hope she falls off that boat and drowns. She is the worst friend. If Derek even thinks of going there with that fug thing, Shonda can give up on GA forever. I wish Cris would disappear and take her worthless husband with her, worst couple ever.

Since Owen has to work I think it's fine for Derek to take Christina fishing.
I think Owen is doing everything for Christina he can. Remember he knows all to well how fragile a person with PTSD is. Sometimes it's better to pull back a little than to push and Owen is pulling back and Meredith is pushing.
I think this episode could be what turns things around for her!

Derek has had his fair share of trauma in his life and has also had the experience of quitting surgery, so personally i think that he will be the one that finally gets through to cristina. Oh and @brittanyy i totally agree about owen not doing enough. he giving her space which i get but its a little too much space.

At least Derek is doing something to help cristina... he went through similar circumstances and maybe he can help her. Oh and btws were the hell is owen and why isnt he doing more for xtina.

I really hate the Cristina/Derek friendship, it feels oddly forced. I feel like they never let her do anything that isn't somehow related to meredith
