Jenny Gago Joins Cast of Southland
When Southland returns with new episodes on January 4, a new detective will be part of the force.
Veteran actress Jenny Gago has been cast as Josie Ochoa, an investigator who will partner with Regina King's Lydia Adams.
Look for this recurring character to be a mother who has been shot in the line of duty. Her Latina culture will play a key role in how she handles cases.
Gaga has guest-starred on such hits as The West Wing, Lost, 24 and The Closer.

This should be interesting Lydia is one of my favorite characters on the show and I will never forget her "What I Don't Like About You" dress down from season 1 will be fascinating to see her dynamic with a female partner.
