Hold on tightly, Psych fans: there's a lot to come on this USA series next month.

To wit: the show's Christmas episode will be directed by star James Roday, who describes it as a "bizarro take on It's a Wonderful Life... You'll see characters you've learned to grow and love in ways you've never seen them before."

As for the December 22 season finale? It will feature Ally Sheedy and viewers will "find out who Mr. Yin is," promises Roday.

Is that enough intrigue for fans? We thought so.
