Grey's Anatomy: Boring Without MerDer Conflict? Comments (Page 5)

I don't want them to fight and have a huge drama like past seasons, it's good that they are in a happy marriage after all that angst, last season I totally get it because Ellen was pregnant, but this season we never see them exept in the begining and at the end of the episode which by the way all we see them talk is about CRISTINA! Derek and Meredith's storyline together and apart had been about Cristina.
They never dealt with the shooting, it's been 8 months, the miscarriage was totally brushed off. It was only one minute.. that's it!
And Meredith instead of being the lead is being the supporting lead, the one who's there to prop the newbies and be just there instead of having a good storyline of her own. She's the GREY after all.
The really need to show more of MerDer because the show is called GREY'S Anatomy. They are like the only reason why I watch the shwo not to mention, if ellen leaves the show won't be good so they need the most of her while she is there.

All I can say is there better be more MerDer otherwise I am just going to stop watching. I love MerDer and I also love the other characters a lot--but if Mer more importantly does not get more screentime I am done. The whole miscarriage thing is what really ticked me off. I don't understand you Shonda, how you can make such a big deal about the misscarriage and make an episode about the unfolding of he hostile uterus and then not talk about it for five episodes? Open your eyes!
So many people are upset at the lack of MerDer! I want to see them more, and true, what ever happened to have Mer choosing her specialty?! Ughhhhhhh!!!! Give me some drama between MerDer at least or SOMETHING to make me go, oh yeah they are THE STARS OF THE SHOW.
It's GREY'S anatomy not CHRISTANA'S anatomy or CALZONA anatomy.

of course im not gonna complain if we get more merder scenes but i for one think the 7th season of greys has been absolutely amazing!!

the show is called grey's anatomy. it has to be about meredith and derek.the show started with a realy great merder scene and the main conflict in 5 seasons was merder.since there was no merder the ratings started going downnnn....GIVE US SOME MERDER!!!(i'm not saying that the show isn't still the best!)

as a true merder fan I can't just forget about them, you can't expect that I will be okay with the fact that they are barely seen. Their story has to be finished and it's not done yet.

Actually like the fact that Shonda is screwing with the Mer/Cris friendship rather than MerDer. That said, there is plenty of things that they could give MerDer without giving the contrive drama. Like the miscarriage, Derek getting shot. Nothing about that the only having a hard time is Cristina as if she was the only one who was there.
There was no MerDer last season until the finale, and that was it. The shooting should've been use to show that they had grown as couple.

C'MON GUYs!
if it wasnt for the tension between these two in season two, the show would have never been as hugely popular as it became.
c'mon, lets face it, we all tuned in to see if these two would get back together after addison came along!
its what kept the show so exciting and interesting!
now, they never show them anymore, and if they do its like 30 seconds, tops. theyre not interesting at all anymoreeee
please, bring some conflict or else we will totally forget how legendary these two once were.

I am glad that they are finally happy and all of that, but Grey's definitely lacks merder scenes...I am sure you all remember the episode 'Staring at the Sun' and the merder scene at the very beginning... we don't need more conflicts, we've had enough, and they still have to have a baby so that should be interesting...

I actually like it better this way. We had 6 seasons of MERDER alllll the time, with drama and stuff. let them be happy and calm for a while, there are other amazing characters also in need to be displayed.

OMG! You have really started it now. It's not enough that we are constantly beat over the head (as is Shonda) about No MERDER - NO MERDER - you have to outright ask the question the friggin question? Add fuel to the fire? Pour alcohol on the wound? You are never gonna hear the end of it now. Unless Calzona's and Crowina unite and drown it out. LOL. I think I'll come back to ya after Jan. 6 when we can talk about the show, in general.
Meredith: Get this baby out of me safely and you can have whatever you want.
