Rare Ratings Jump For Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl ended 2010 with a rare, modest boost in ratings.
Still, a boost is a boost, and you gotta like the sound of that.
The show cracked the 2 million mark for the first time this fall, and given its consistently steady performance among females 18-34, another renewal is looking likely.
The only downside? Having to wait until January 24 for a new episode. We'll do our best to keep things interesting for now. Read our Round Table from this week!

GG is the best serie in the world i love all the characters and obiusly chuck&blair...i dont want dair i cant imagine them togheter.chuck and blair had fight so much to be together .every one is the best for the other....xoxo

I actually see their ratings eventually going down as well. With the plots that they're coming up with, it seems to be a cycle of stories already. And with the idea of the absence of Dancing with the Stars not airing, you get why they boosted this week. I think the show needs to come up with more diverse plots or their end will come after season 5.

GG IS THEIR LAST RESORT for entertainment.
sorry to burst the bubble, but it's true. i advice you girls not to be overjoyed by this. you'll just get disappointed in the next half when the ratings are as abysmal as ever...specially with the ridiculous plots the writers are going to pull. it's going to be a disaster!
i see end of GG is near.

i sure miss season 1 and 2 of GG, but overall, GG is still the best show ever! so i'm happy to hear this.

i was sooooooooooooooooooo happy when i saw this! i cant imagine gosssipgirl EVER getting cancelled! i would DIEE like seriously! today in health class we were talkin bout addictions and i was like "I HAVE AN ADDICTION TO GOSSIP GIRL :D" everyone laughed but it isnt funny im seriously obsessed.

Personally, I watched it because I wanted to see them take down Juliet. I think that's possibly the main reason why so many people tuned into the episode.
