And Glee has been absolutely horrific this season. Like so bad I might stop watching, and I have never stopped watching a show LOL. But come on, Glee writers, Brittany saw three different Santas, one of which threw her beard off dramatically... like come on! I know it's a ridiculous show, but it doesn't have to be that stupid. And poor Carol Burnett had one of the worst storylines ever.
I'm sorry, but the Grey's Anatomy shooting episode was one of the best and suspenseful episodes of television ever. And the second half of season 6 and first half of season 7 have been incredible. I mean, I know the show had its ups and downs in like season 3 and 4, but that's over now and the show is kicking a lot of ass. My vote is on Grey's.

I don't understand why you all keep all say "where is gossip girl?" or "where is greys anatomy?", etc etc. It's just about obvious that they're not above. You all might be angry or dissapionted, but it's not a big deal. The vote is not a matter of life and death. Simply vote for something else you watch. If it's not there, then relax and leave a comment with a justified opinion about why you believe your favorite show should be there. Happy New Year! :D

To everyone asking 'What about this show or that show?' - It's just a matter of opinion. In ours, based solely on episodes that aired in 2010, the shows listed were the strongest on television.
Terriers was such an awesome program. It really sucks that more people did not watch. I think the nite and time slot had something to do with it as it was opposite The Good Wife and Detroit 187 also great programs

Vampire Diaries is my favourite. Love the show, Caroline the badass, Tyler becoming a werewolf, Alaric the cutey, Bonnie the most talented witch, Stefan and Elena and there beautiful love story and I hope Damon going back to being the biggest manwhore/torturer of humans we love. Don't like Damon following Elena around like a wimp, very boring.

But, based on its ratings, it clearly stood no chance of coming close to winning this poll. I was trying to list shows that had a strong fan base AND great years. Perhaps I should add Terriers, however, and not worry about the outcome so much...

@Katie: I thought season two was one of the best seasons of any drama I've ever watched... but season three was a major letdown until the finale. I got bored by events in Ireland and felt as though the show dragged its feet to get the characters there.

@Iris2093: We can't answer every complaint, and expected plenty of disagreement, but a couple quick responses:
1. The Walking Dead aired 6 episodes in 2010.
2. I HATED the Dexter season five finale, so could not include the show overall.
3. Medium was canceled. That automatically disqualifies it.
4. The cast itself has come out and admitted season four of Big Love was a trainwreck.
5. @Blythe: We did not include Family Guy or any sitcoms because they had their own poll earlier this month when we asked for the Best Comedy of 2010.
All that said, everyone is very much entitled to their opinion, but I just wish to stress: our list is for episodes that aired in 2010 ONLY.
