Annie Ilonzeh: Cast as One of Charlie's Angels
That didn't take long.
Just days after ABC announced plans to air a remake of Charlie's Angels in the fall, the network has found one of its three leads.
Insiders confirm to TV Line that Annie Ilonzeh has landed the role of Kate, the most serious of the sexy crime-fighters. She's a former cop and a martial arts expert.
Ilonzeh currently portrays Maya Ward on General Hospital and recently appeared on Entourage and Melrose Place.
She's the first Angel to be cast, although we already know who will voice her boss, Charlie: veteran actor Robert Wagner.
