Elton John Campaigns for Role on Glee
Elton John will release a couple of duets with Glee star Matthew Morrison this spring, both of which ("Mona Lisas and Madhatters" and "Rocket Man") sound "brilliant," the music icon tells E! News.
But will we ever see John sing one of his classic tunes alongside Morrison on the small screen?
"I would love to be on Glee," Elton says. "But you have to be asked to be on Glee."
Wait... Morrison didn't ask the singer to be appear on the series?!? Laughs John:
"No! I mean, there's more people than him on the show..."

HOW COULD YOU GUYS SAY THAT? Now you're siding with Ryan Murphy, who's overfilling the show with so many useless guest stars? Seriously? You're unbelievable!
Besides, we want to see more individual character development!

Hey Ryan, why don't you just cut the shit and replace the entire cast with celebrities???!!! Having a celebrity EVERY FREAKIN' episode seems to be the theme of the show now. For god sake, ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

How about adding Alicia Keys, Nicolas Cage, Minnie Driver, Daniel Radcliffe, Helena Bonham Carter, Heidi Montag, Frank Sinatra, James Marsters, Beyonce, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Mel Gibson, the whole Rocky Horror Picture Cast (including Jonathan Adams and Charles Gray, not kidding here), the Spice Girls, the whole Moulin Rouge cast, the whole Dr. Horrible cast, and then add Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato? Oh, and let's not forget to add Oprah Winfrey, Tyra Banks, Snooki and Mel Brooks!
Seriously, Ryan Murphy, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? And Elton John, you should know better! Just because you're so special, it doesn't make your appearance on Glee special, does it?

While I'd love ND to cover some classic Elton songs having him appear is TOO much.
I am really hating the excessive guest stars.
The show is becoming more about which big stars they can get and not about plot or character development.
I know it's not confirmed or anything but if anybody can get the message to the writers/producers they really need to be told to stop this.
The talent in the main cast is so big it needn't rely on guest stars. If they must have people come in can they not come with equal talent to the cast or some sort of link to theatre, maybe some really talented people who don't get the exposure they deserve.
All these 'stars' are becoming irksome. Paltrow was the clincher for me, I can name so many other actresses who could have doen the part equally as well, or better than her.
I would have loved to see someone like Tina Arena cameo (she could have done a much better Holly Holiday in her sleep!!!), she's got an awesome voice, is funny and talented, has a

What about Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Jessalyn Gilsig, Mike O'Malley and Harry Shum Jr.? They don't get as much screentime as those three. Even Dijon Talton was kicked out before he ever got any spotlights on him.

stop with the guest stars! i loved gwyenth paltrow but seriously enough is enough already! john stamos, anne hathaway, and elton john! its madness! give darren criss, charice, and chord overstreet some time before new characters/ guest stars are included please!

Jesus!! WTF?? this guy? seriously??? this guy??? If this happen - I GIVE UP Glee. It will be a GLS officialy show.
By the way - I m gay and HATE that guy! I wanna watch a straight show not GLS! ¬¬
