Pretty Little Liars Posts Record Ratings
Pretty Little Liars has officially risen above cult favorite status. The ABC Family drama is an officially hit.
Monday's winter premiere drew a record 4.2 million viewers. It set a series high in total viewers, while also achieving best-ever status in the key demographics of adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and women 18-49.
The 2011 debut of the show blew away the series premiere by two million viewers. If these numbers hold, Pretty Little Liars will be more successful than The Vampire Diaries or any show on The CW.
An impressive return, indeed.

I love pretty little liars!! 90210, the vampire diaries, gossip girl plus pretty little liars... hmm my favorite shows probably the best! But the vampire diaries gets to be n.o1 out of all of them. Then theres a new t.v show called ringer im really loving it but lets wait and see

So far, I think Pretty Little Liars can definitely outdo some of The CW shows. I think that it wins over 90210 by a mile because the storylines of that show are just poorly executed. I think it has a chance over Gossip Girl as well because that show seems to be based on a cycle of people dating one another. Vampire Diaries is probably it's biggest competition because TVD does a good job in executing all the different aspects of their characters. Over-all, Pretty Little Liars and The Vampire Diaries have an edge because they're not solely based on the normal and elite lives of teenagers.

my top 3 favorite shows: gossip girl the vampire diaries pretty little liars gossip girl is my favorite because the acting is better and the guys are way hotter: chuck nate and at times, dan. The vampire diaries has damon salvatore plus stefan and tyler:) but the only guys on pll that are hot are ezra and noel.

Lmao, if you mean struggle to hit two million again then yeah it will come back strong. Gossip Girl has never even had an episode in the four millions. PLL owns Gossip Girl!

Pretty little liars is allright.. The books are so much better but the CW is ah-mazing and way WAY better then PLL. Like One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl. Nothing compares to the awesomness og the CW

Pll is ok but gossip girl is forever the queen bee(just look at facebook fans,itunes success, magazine covers, etc)
Gossip girl will come back strong in late january because the winter finale was so tremendously good.
