Hey, CW Viewers, wanna catch VD?
If so, tune in this Thursday night at 8 p.m. of the return of The Vampire Diaries. What, did you think we were referring to something else with that question?
The billboard above will be plastered all over New York and other cities this week. It's not the first time The CW has angered the Parents Television Council with such ads.
Remember the Menage a Tues posters for Melrose Place? Probably not. How about the OMFG promotion for Gossip Girl?

I hate the caption. It puts such a negative spin on the series especially for people that are not familiar with the show.

Ok the CW just makes some stupid calls. (like keeping that shit 90210 show on and cancelling LUX) All they had to do was keep the pic of the three of them and have a caption like catch TVD thursday 8/7c. The pic piques everyones interest! Not the stupid caption.

Gossip Girl's ads were better. The only thing that makes this billboard a big deal is what it says which technically it not good thing. Agree with Chair it's a bad ad. No one wants a VD. I definitely don't want the VD,that writers on this show seem to have caught with the shitty plotline that seems to get ridiculous by the moment and not one but three annoying triangles.
Way to copy GG and fail TVD. PTC had the problem with the pictures too on the billboard with OMFG.

The PTC needs to STFU. As I posted in the Skins thread, I don't want or need anyone to tell ME what MY family should watch in MY home...
That said, I can't wait :)
