V takes a week off from pitting Visitors against humans next week and returns on February 1 with the episode "Unholy Alliance." It will feature:

• Erica hunting down the leader of a radical faction of the Fifth Column, played by Oded Fehr.
• Anna heading to the Vatican.
• Jay Karnes debuting as FBI Agent Chris Bolling.
