American Idol Auditions of the Night: John Wayne Schulz and Thia Megia

at . Comments

American Idol whittled its contestants from 100 to 60 last night.

And while we still have a VERY long way to go until the finale in May, a couple hopefuls stood out from the rest in Hollywood, as John Wayne Schulz and Thia Megia impressed with their talent and poise, each covering a classic.

First up, listen to Schulz go acoustic for a rendition of "Landslide."

Now, sit back and ponder the fact that Megia is only 15 years old as you watch her take on "What a Wonderful World."

Among other contestants who survived to sing another day: Ashley Sullivan, Jacob Lusk, Scotty McCreery, Ta-Tynisa Wilson, Brett Loewenstern, Lauren Alaina, James Durbin, Casey Abrams, Carson Higgins, Naima Adedapo, Julie Zorilla and Rachel Zevita.

Correction: She has a great voice. LOL Am sleepy:):) (*_*)

This has a great voice. But this song "What a Wonderful World" didn't realy fit to the quality of her voice and her age. Overall, she's impressive at age 15. Charice is still the most talented girl in the world quoted by Oprah as saying. No doubt about it!

Thia already got her chance on America's Got Talent why is she still in the running?

Thia-I am a so proud of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew you coud do it!!
