NCIS: Los Angeles Preview: Deeks Gets Shot!
Eric Christian Olsen has made his character, Marty Deeks, an indispensable part of the NCIS: Los Angeles team. Hopefully his run doesn't come to an end next Tuesday.
Deeks' morning routine is disrupted when he is shot during a convenience store robbery, leaving G, Sam and Kensi to investigate whether he was the intended target.
We have to think Deeks makes it and this only brings him closer with Kensi, as their dynamic has really grown on us (as we discussed in our NCIS: LA review earlier).
Here's CBS' promo for next week's episode, "Personal" ...
How do you see it playing out? The producers have shown a surprising willingness to push the envelope with surprise cast moves, but Deeks has to make it ... right?

Stop being rude saying that it's okay if deeks dies. You are a very shallow person {Even if it's not real} I absolutely love NCISLA because of Deeks, he brought something that NCISLA didn't have in season 1. Besides, Him and kensi are perfect for eachother, like it or not ;)

Couldn't watch NCIS:LA consistantly until they brought Deeks in. If he dies I'll probably drop it all together. Callen is too obsessed with his past to make a good pairing for Kensi. Deeks is a bit goofy but he always come through with the goods when they need him. I think with a little seasoning he'll make a great addition to an otherwise predictable (except for maybe Hetty) character set.

I always prefer Callen and Kensi, so no problem if deeks dies.

Please dont let Deeks die! I think he pulls through after after Kensi spills her heart out to him in the hospital and she probably doesnt realize that he can hear her ;)

Well, Michael, for one thing, Ziva is not on this show.
Deeks has become my favorite character on this show, after Hetty. I miss Nate, but if his presence continues to be peripatetic, then I will settle for Deeks. I can't say that Callan or LL Cool J have won my heart in any way.
I've never been to LA, but it does seem to me that it truly cannot be quite so evil and violent as this show portrays it. Why can't these characters hadle problems in other areas? NCIS does.
