at . Comments

Last night's Private Practice episode was intense. Even by the standards of the ABC show and its recent story lines, the events of "Blind Love" were emotionally draining.

Our Private Practice review breaks down the events of this powerful episode in detail with a look toward next week. "Home Again" picks up where we left off last night.

Addison goes home to Connecticut for the funeral, nut lingering questions and difficult decisions pose more stress for her, and Sam may bear the brunt of that tension.

Meanwhile, Sheldon and Violet clash over a death row patient. What do you think will happen on Private Practice next week? Here's the first promo for the episode ...

This looks so good! I can't wait to see the place where Addison grew up. And I love that Sam is not giving up on her.

I think this is the start of the end of Sam and Addison! The expectations are high and everybody are thinking they are going to get married! And its high pressure! I think Addison needs some one different from Sam!

I can already sense how intense this episode is going to be for Addison. I think it's great how Sam will do his best to be there for her and get her to talk about it and the same time she has Charlotte who already knows what's going on.

Wow I can't wait to watch this episode on my HD channels. I love Private Practice, but have yet to be able to watch this episode. I was at work last night at DISH Network so I had to miss the episode. I was able to record it on my DVR so I will have to go home and watch the episode. I always love watching this show in HD with my HD free for life it’s such a better picture than standard.

Private Practice Quotes

[as we see Sam having a heart-to-heart with his little dog] Her ex-husband, Sam, is an internist. You wish you had his people skills.

Charlotte: My mom always says God doesn't give with both hands. You're young, beautiful, brilliant. There has to be something you can't have.
Amelia: Some days I'd give that all up.
Charlotte: That's just the craving talking. The longer you go without a drink...
Amelia: I drank at your wedding. I thought it was ginger ale. I spit it out.
Charlotte: OK, since then?
Amelia: Nothing, but I can't stop thinking about it.
Charlotte: It was an accident. Don't let a slip turn into a fall. Get your butt to a meeting.
