American Idol viewers were treated to a handful of potential finalists in San Francisco last night, most of whom shared a moving persona story with the judges.

There was Stefano Langone (below) and how he overcame a car accident that led medics to believe he was dead.

There was James Durbin, who has Tourettes syndrome, a son and a voice that reminds us of Adam Lambert.

And let's not forget about Julie Zorrilla, whose parents left a comfortable life in Colombia due to political turmoil in the region. All three of these contestants have reportedly landed a spot in the top 40. Which was your favorite?
