I missed Caroline last week. Poor Caroline and Matt. I don't see it working for them I was wondering when Candice was going to sing. I liked it. Something, an astral projection? is killing Kat, I know turn the flamethrower on it, haha! The John and Kat plan was spoken a bit fast, I missed some of it. Gah! I hate long hiati!

Loved this episode, great to see everyone in it, especially since we have to wait until April 7th for the next one.I think the only reason Katherine picked Stefan was because she wanted to get out of the tomb, and if the dagger had been given to him, he may not have killed Elijah, as Elena may have talked him out of it. Wheras she knew Damon would use it, she was only thinking of herself as usual, but of course Damon didn't see it that way. Now his rejection of her will only make her want him more. She only wanted Stefan because he loves Elena and didn't want her anymore. Although I do like Damon and Katherine together, they are fun to watch. I think they will bring Elijah back, as they may need his help in getting rid of Klaus. Poor Caroline and Matt,just when you thought they could be happy for a while.

The editor dont give this show too many 5 stars, i sure hope that the season get an A+ grade on the report card.

I docked the episode .1 b/c I thought the Matt/Caroline showdown was cut short in a cheap sort of way. It was a poorly written way to force a cliffhanger on us.

Oh boy, the shit is really gonna hit the fan in the last episodes of season 2. The Salvatore brothers are to careless in the way they kill off people. They are reaping more problems upon themselves and those around. Now when Luka's sister finds out they killed her brother and father, she will want to murder them. If Elijah is ever revived (I think he will be) he is definitely going to try and kill them. Matt can't do much, but I am sure he will be pissed when he finds out Damon turned his sister and stefan killed her. Plus it is not the end of the werewolf chapter...However I loved the episode.

I agree why didn't this episode get a 5 star ranking?? It was a really really good episode. I saw only the ' rose ' episode got a 5 star. This one was just as good !! If not better.

so annoying that vampire diaries still hasn't got a five star rating damit it was a perfect episode!
Anyway I Loved that Matt mentioned Vikki again and the writers didt fall into a major plot hole Vicki was my favorite character. I love all the mentions of the past story-lines like emily Bennett and tomb Katherine. and that last scene i thought Katherine was talking to Jenna. I was like iiii! But no Isobel was still a pretty good shock. Oh and the jonas Bonnie grabbing scene made me jump too! well done VD wasnt expectingthat at alL!

I am so sick of these long hiatus's! It would be interesting if the burial ground is the mystic grill...now that that has perished there's an easier chance of finding it. Anyway, my 2 cents: love Bonnie and Jeremy, love Caroline and Matt, so happy Andi wasn't in this episode, so happy Damon blew off Katherine and loved for a split second Stephan thought Elena was Katherine. But enough already, bring me some Delena and stat!

I think they are going to make a huge plot around Bonnie, and i think she is going Rouge/crazy like Willow in Buffy! Place of greta witch power will take over and she will transform into the season 3 main Villian!
The ep was good, I think Jenna is going down! And it will probably be Damons mistake, so we have a reason to hate him! :D

OMG i cannot wait to see this episode in full. I am in australia so it doesn't air til Monday night. All my friends think I'm mad for looking at the spoilers haha, i am so glad Luka and Jonas are dead, is this wack? they annoyed me. Bonnie rocks. Also I love Beremy! They are too cute! I LOVE Damon - he needs some love *when will elena get it?* Matt/Caroline kiss was epic but I hope Tyler comes back, i love him and Caroline better this season. Jenna, can't believe she's trusthing anything John Gilbert says. Even if it is true, I thought she loved Alaraic and hated John. grrr. Nice to see Katherine back even tho sometimes I hate her, but she's an interesting character that always leaves me guessing her true loyalties. Matt and Jenna are still ntohing characters, I don't think Matt should become Vampire either. If you were to kill off more characters they'd be the ones! Isobel coming back, can't wait to see what hell she, John, Klaus and Kat bring. Damon has to deal with so much s*%# it's

I just want klaus to be around, in my opinion he will show up in the last two episodes of the season, and i think there will be a major death. It is too easy all the bad guys are dead : elija luka jonas, so who will die in the last episode? I think matt or jenna who are the outsiders, yet alaric. I want tyler to go back, i think is gonna end up with caroline

though i love scenes with damon and katherine, their dynamics is so overpowering...i salute damon for rejecting her...that biaatch has done a lot to hurt him, serves her right.

I liked this episode, I thought it was good. Exept for a few things: like Luka and Jonas dying, I'm mad that Damon killed Luka. I liked Luka and I liked Jonas. I was happy to see more of Katherine, cause she is one of my favourites. If she would have died this episode I would have been so pissed off. Candice did a good job singing. I hope Tyler comes back soon, because I miss him. They left it at a good cliffhanger, Isobell coming back. I wasn't expecting to see her. I can't wait to see the next episode, it sucks that we have to wait till April 7th tho. Overall good episode, exept for the fact that Luka and Jonas die. Also I hope that someone pulls the dagger our of Elijah.

@Jennifer awesome comment about the show tying back in with the books as far as how klaus might die. I had totally forgotten about the spirits in the book carrying him away.
As for the rest of the episode: not happy to see isobel back but definitely not surprised either. Personally I think Katherine is an awesome character and think any episode she's in is a good one. Hats off to Nina dobrev, really a fantastic actress.
April 7th might as well be a year away, cannot wait for the next new episode!

This review is spot-on, but there is something I would like to add..
Katy is the most gut-wrenchingly sick, disgusting b**** in the whole, wide world!! WTF? She chose to save Stefan, but wants Damon as her sex buddy?? That is cheap beyond words....I hate, hate, hate her, and there is no abuse in this world that can be used on her, because they would all sound mild! I would really love to see Damon drive a stake thru' her heart, then burn her and flush her ashes down the toilet--such creeps don't deserve to live! And as for Elena choosing Damon over Stefan, I have changed my mind about that too. Let her be with her boring, dirty-secrets Stefan for the rest of her f***ing life! Damon should be able to find someone he deserves to be with, because thankfully he has time on his side.
