Cheap shot to get rid of JJ and then put a bad acting look alike in her place. She has no charisma and no appeal to me. Get someone totally different and interesting, or better yet, BRING BACK OUR 2 LADIES!
Do NOT like CM Suspect Behavior, will not watch another episode. CBS, save your money for returning the two stars you made the HUGE MISTAKE of firing!

Bring them back, use to be one of my favorite shows now I am having a hard time with it, not happy with the changes, What's the old saying if it aint broke why fix it.....very disappointed.

Bring back JJ and Emily!! Get rid of Seavers! I'm terribly upset here! I really am. Criminal Minds is my FAVORITE show, and now this? Really? Come on!! GET RID OF THE NEW ONE...you can't replace 2 amazing female characters with THIS! LAME!

I think emily and jj should come back its pretty messed up how they put emily in witness protection and then on the other hand they take jj off the show..i think that new girl should leave and emily come back on the show and jj also i love you jj and emily and i think there should be an episode that doyle comes back and morgan kill him which is called self-defence and them emily comes back and her and morgan get together as a couple:) them jj should already come back in the news ones:) and if emily and jj dont come back them no one will watch the show and reid your kinda cute:) lol..well i hope you come back guys and also i think morgan is cute too:)

I agree !!! Please bring the old show back. I tried the new one and although I like the actors I just cant get into it. And I miss the old cast SOOOO much !!!!

I'm sad to see JJ and Prentiss gone, but I think the new girl's OK. But since Doyle escaped I hope they bring him back and make sure his dead this time. Hopefully with the help of JJ and Prentiss, and why not Clyde?? I really like to see him again not to mention I think he had something to do with the faking of Prentiss death additionally to JJ and Hotch (who obviously seem to knows). Also wonder how the team will react if (which I really hope they do) find out Prentiss isn't dead and that JJ and Hotch knew??

Why ruin a perfect show?? It will never be the same without JJ and Prentiss but expecially JJ!! I love all the other cast members but do NOT care for JJs replacement! Why replace her with someone who looks so much like her but cannot act? Criminal Minds is one of favorite shows and during the winter I watch reruns constantly! Bring JJ and Prentiss back!!

Prentiss was not one of my favorite characters. I thought JJ was more interesting and important to the show providing honest emotion and professionalism. Garcia was interesting in the past but her histrionics are becoming as annoying as her changing hair color. The earlier effort to use her as a replacement for JJ was misguided. Joe Mantegna and his darkening hair brings too much heaviness to the show. Mandy P provided a good balance to Thomas G. What is with Morgan's eyebrows? The acting is wonderful and the characters, especially Reed and Hotch remain interesting and complex but I want JJ back. Doyle is a great villain and I hope that he is brought back several times. I also think it would be great if Reed killed him next season. Love the show and my husband is now addicted to the re-runs.

I hate to see a show I have watched for so long ruined. Especially if it was for the spin-off. If Cuba has some illness that makes him act so strange, please excuse this comment but in the first episodes I couldn't understand a word he said! If his sort of trance speech pattern and weird facial expression is an acting choice, it is truly awful. If he is recovering from a stroke then I get it.
In any case the original CM is so much better but only with the women.

Did anyone notice we don't know Prentiss' true dentity? How is it there are people who remember her as Emily Prentiss? Her mother is a diplomat!! For all of you who don't believe in conspiracy theories & shadow governments, all - have to say is truth is stranger than fiction.

Prentiss is not in Wit Sec, she is on another assignment. They showed her from behind because her facial features have been altered. I like Mandy Patinkin but I don't miss him because the casting director & the writers handled it well.

I agree with all the comments about JJ, Prentiss, and Seaver… my only additional comments are: 1. I hope the reason JJ was reassigned to the State Dept was specifically to assist with the outcome of the writing of this case. 2. Cutting 2 excellent female characters to create a less than stellar spin-off was a stupid move on the part of CBS. 3. Now the team is short another agent and will havve to hire another. With Seaver being such an obvious "newbie" as we saw on this episode, they are going to need someone more experienced, ie a transfer or reinstatement. My suggestion? Wise up CBS, listen to your viewers and bring back JJ, clean up the case with Doyle - heck make it the season ender, and send off Seaver as a hero to bring back Prentiss next Season. Just IMHO.

I have missed JJ since she left. Now Prentiss has left and I don't think the show will ever be as great as it was before. I doubt if I continue to watch with 2 strong characters removed from the show.

To the poster Michael who said it's not our show lets not attack the actors. I think it's fair to say that any show on television lives or dies by whether we tune in or not so our opinions count. If we don't like a character (which is sounds like the majority do not like the new blonde) then the producers should really think about it. I'm going to hazard a guess to say that this was all money related. CBS wanted to launch Criminal Minds Suspect Behavior and didn't want to pay Forrest Whittaker $$ plus the JJ and Prentis $$ so they got rid of some of what they viewed as dead weight and left half doors open for them to return. I think this was a stupid move but probably made becuase other characters have left before and the show has become even more successful. We will see how the ratings play out now that they have gone. It won't be the same show for me but we will see...

Prentiss' and Garcia are my favorite female characters. Its sad that prentiss had to go. It seemed pointless for them to get rid of her. She had the look. But its typical for shows to do that. All tv is going to crap with reality shows such as basketball wives!! seriously? But oh well, people don't need to sit on their asses and watch tv all day anyways. Just a thought :)
I agree that the show is not the same without JJ and now Prentiss. Why let the character JJ go and then hire someone who is so like her in appearance but without the chemistry of JJ. The show is not the same and I don't think it will ever be the same. I did not care for Ellie and was glad she left. Seaver is just not on the same page with Hotch, Morgan, Reed, Rossi and Garcia. She will never fit in, her personality is all wrong. I love Hotch, he is a professional in his role. He has to keep his group together. I am all for bringing JJ back and Prentis when Doyle is dead and gone. Hope Morgan or Reed is the one to kill him in a future episode. It is best that the team does not know the secret of Prentiss being alive.If the producers or who ever is in charge of bringing her back would do so. The team will realize that it was for the protection of Prentiss and they will accept it because they love her and respect her.

Assuming that Prentiss is alive, and JJ and Hotch know, that was extremely cruel. Garcia was crying. Reid didn't get to say goodbye. Morgan held her, pleaded with her not to die. It's cruel not to tell them that she's alive. I understand the whole witness protection thing, but this feels like something the writers did to keep the potential of Prentiss coming back while still having several episodes of angst with the team. I absolutely hated the end of this episode.
On a side note, the acting was awesome. MGG is an amazing director and actor.

First, Gubler is incrdeibly talented as a director as this episode demonstrated. It would serve the show well to utilize him more often in that capacity.
I found the episode to be a compelling send off for Prentiss, and, even though the faked death is somewhat cliche, it was still 1)the most efficient way to keep it open for PB to return, and 2) the best way to keep Prentiss safe until Doyle can be captured/eliminated.
All in all, it was a great episode, but not perfect. I cringe everytime the cadet appears onscreen, and this ep was no exception. The BAU is supposed to be an elite unit that agents have to work for years to become a part of. A cadet is as far out of place there as it gets. The scene where she became nearly hysterical when Rossi asked for her "fresh eyes" perpective is one more example of what's wrong with the character. Anyone who would react so badly when pressed to make an important contribution to a profile, certainly couldn't be trusted to maintain her

Maybe Emily and Elle can meet for tea somewhere and discuss how humorless Hotch has become. Bah, I thought everyone was out of character in this episode. What was Rossi doing yelling at the new chick for "fresh eyes" and she actually teared up, so professional. The faux funeral is par for the course when going into witness protection, but come one, Doyle obviously has deep connections inside the agencies and could find her that way, she's on her own, but she should be dead. I will have to give up on this show and I loved it so much in the first seasons.

They're both in on it. Emily's handler asked him to take an oath, and he's fulfilling it by helping her disappear until Ian is captured (or helping her pursue him...).

I don't believe for a second that hotch and JJ would put the team through something like this. If it ever came out Prentiss was still alive Morgan would go on a killing spree, Prentiss first Hotch and JJ second and third (and Penelope would cover his tracks). If these people can't keep a secret like this nobody can. It's just too cruel and unrealistic
