Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk This episode had the potential to be very good. but the singing was distracting. Yes the singing was Callie's vision of what's happening. But it was DISTRACTING. Good grief, this episode had so much potential. A lot of potential!

Not their best show ever... the singing and some of the camera shots involved in the "musical" mode of production made things seem awkward at times and ridiculous at others. However, there are some really talented singers on the show. Also, as a Grey's Anatomy fan since day 1 (and literally the only show I watch), I can appreciate that they had a bit of fun experimenting and putting the show together.
So, should they do it again? No. But did I enjoy watching the cast get into their musical performances? Yes.

I thought this episode had the potential to be a very good and powerful episode. I thought most of the songs took away from the drama. My heart sunk when i saw that callie had gone through the windshield, when you just see her feet sticking out, i was speechless. I loved that callie sang the opening theme right there. As far as the other songs, i could have done without most of them. I loved the der-mer scene in the elevator, it made me quite nostalgic for previous seasons. Callie's performance at the end was the only other song i felt was well placed. It was so powerful. I've always loved sara ramirez, and she did not disappoint. Oh, and teddy totally overreacted when she told christina she couldnt teach her anymore... thats just my opinion, but i hope this musical thing doesnt happen again.

Worse episode ever. Should have been the best. The singing at all the unexpected times ruined the flow of the drama!!!
The music was so loud you cannot hear the dialog, which is a common complaint every week for this show.
Love the show, please don't mess with it!!!!!

I was not too keen on a musical episode given that I have musicals, but this I found myself positively surprised. I enjoyed this episode. The songs fit the theme perfectly and made the situation more dramatic. I don't know that I would want too many of these musicals but this one was good. I enjoyed it.

The story line was very good but with the singing, it ruined the who thing !! I thought it was Stupid !!!! Such a shame, it could have been a real winner !!! If they wanted anyone to sing, it could have been Callie because she might have been dying. The rest of the cast singing spoiled the whole thing !!! Hope it doesn't happen again !!

And the main reason Kevin McKidd may have sounded awkward and such is because he is a native Scotsman, his normal speaking voice has a thick Scottish accent and he is doing an American accent, I don't think I could sing using an accent that is not natural. I thought Kevin did beautifully considering.

As much as I could get out of the story line it was good. Spent most of my time trying to hear the dialogue over the singing. I tuned in for a story not a musical.I am sure that critics will love it but I just think it missed on what the heck they were trying for. Love this show. Please, lets not do this again.

* Teddy severed her teacher-student relationship with Cristina — zzzzz. Cristina and Owen, like, totally went at it – !!!!!!!
YOU GO THAT ONE RIGHT MATT!!! Owen and Cristina were on fire - it was nice to finally see the married couple be hot and passionate again, I have missed that from these two. They are the hottest couple on tv, Kevin McKidd and Sandra Oh just act the heck out of their scenes. As for Teddy, wished she would just leave since she no longer is going to teach Cristina.
I enjoyed the musical for what it was. A little too much Calizona for me but the singing was very good. Of course Sara was amazing but Kevin McKidd rocked it too as well as Chandra and Chyler. Wouldn't want to see Grey's do another epi like this but it was nice to see something different.

It was boring, annoying and distracting. Total waste of my time.
What the most boring episode of Grey's, ever.
I didn't mind the songs.. but there were to many and was no room left for any dialog. The Alex en Arizona interaction saved the epi a bit.
Sara has an amazing voice, really enjoyed listening to that.

I think it was a great episode, i just have the feeling they showed us too much with their sneak peeks and all, it was not a full surprise. Big applause for Jcap, her acting was amazing in this episode, and of course Sara was great as well.

Jessica Capshaw rocked the episode!!!
I loved the epi, just for once a music episode on Grey's. Something different but enjoyable to watch!
Grey's is not Glee but a lot of others shows have done this before so why not Grey's? I think it was pretty good!
And i love when Arizona and Karev interact together!
I thought it was very well done and the songs fit the situations. But when Callie sang those 2 lines of Cozy in the Rocket, I screamed and slapped my knee (very hard, I might add) which is something I haven't done since season 4!
Addie comming back was a little meh though.

I think the episode was good! Not the best of course, but it's definitely one of the best this season. But I agree, if they tried this again, it probably might not work. So I hope they don't, as much as I love hearing the doctors sing.
Sara, Kevin and Chyler were AMAZING. Just absolutely amazing. Didn't know Kevin and Chyler could sing like that! They picked the right people to sing the songs.
And I really really loved Running on Sunshine. All the couples getting steamy and sexy. Cristina & Owen just burned up my screen, they are SO hot. They should have more scenes like this :P
I am SO happy that the baby (and Callie) survived!! It was quite a touching episode, because seeing Callie so injured just broke my heart and everyone being so supportive and trying their very best got me teary-eyed.
I'm totally siding Cristina in this Cristina/Teddy thing. Teddy should have instead listened to Cristina's suggestion, cause it made her look pretty bad in the OR when they chose to
