Beautiful, wonderful, incredible, show. It was everything I wanted it to be except for the Mark and Lexie thing. I want them together. But baby and callie are alive:] "She's a one pound and one ounce of strong." Favorite line of the show!

I love Greys but the singing seemed way out of place. If it happened in every episode they would lose me as a fan.

For me it was a strange episode. I never liked Glee so I certainly didn't want my favorite show to imitate it. Every time someone broke out in song I broke out in laughter. It was way too silly for a show that could have been way more dramatic. And the fake baby with it's arms and legs straight in the air was hysterical....Hollywood didn't have a more convincing doll baby? Yikes, 2 thumbs down.

I love Greys soooooo much but i really don't think there is anyway for me love this episode. I tried to. The plotline was great so why did they waste it? The best part of the episode was Mer and Der in the elevator and it didn't involve singing. The songs were excellent but i wish they had just played the cast versions in the background like they usually do. All in all "How to Save a Life" was the best and it seemed very fitting same as "Grace". I also really loved the use of the theme song it was great and it gave me hope for the rest of the episode but i was kind of let down. Also i couldn't help but laugh when Owen sang. He has a great voice but it just came across so awkward that I had to laugh. I'll be happy for regular format when Greys starts up again.

i have to say i totally loved the episode, true some songs were more relevant and better than other. I went through so many emotions, I lliterally wanted to kick Mark's ass when he told Arizona she was nothing, but he made up for it later! It was such an intense episode and I was a little bit on edge right to the end waiting for her to wake up, and when she said YES to Arizona, a whole new round of tears started, happy tears lol

I think you "missed the boat" with "Song Beneath the Song". The singing was very distracting; especially when using closed captioning. Such a serious episode deserved more class and less confusion.

I think they did he music really well and the portrayal by everyone was very emotional. I will note on a few things though.
1. I agree with Teddy that she is the teacher and Cristina is the student, but Cristina was offering her assistance as a doctor and offered her a different way of saving Callie and the baby. I think that she is jealous of Cristina because she gets the career and skill, as well as the love life with Owen. I think Teddy is just plain jealous that Cristina has it all.
2. I found Kate Walsh's appearance irrelevant. She was meant to be a Special Guest Star, but she had only 4 scenes. All which lasted basically 1 minute or less. She was basically a back up singer for the cast and was used to appear as though she was going to mean something to the episode. As much as I love Addison and Kate Walsh, I found the appearance of her in this episode not really meaningful as I hoped it would be.

I think it was an awesome ep... U have to give shonda credit in throwing these amazing eps in between slightly less amazing ones.... The only thing I flet contrived was Teddy's reaction to Christina... A bit too contrived me thinks... Yes xtina is a know it all who thinks she's great but for Teddy to say that, I think its a ploy to create a rift and drama in that relationship. Oh and TAKE THAT to all those ppl who said that the baby will die!!! I CALLED IT!!!!!! Baby and Callie alive with Three parents!!!!!!!! Boyaaaaa!!!!

Totally agree with your point that this episode worked very well here, but wouldn't in the future. I thought the songs fit in very well, and even though sometimes it was a little much, it all worked out. My one complaint would be the dream sequence with callie and arizona in the car, it was mad trippy, but that was my only issue with the episode. The singing was surprisingly great and i cant wait for more episodes!!
