Like I already said on another site, I think that all the fans were either super excited about this epi or too sceptic. As far as I’m concerned I was so looking forward to it, and I’m happy to say that I really loved it.
Can I give you an advice? Just watch the episode again… do it when you are relaxed and leave behind all the prejudices and the criticisms and pretend that you came across the show on your tv.
I get that everybody can have an opinion but I’m reading things like horrible, terrible… It would be better a simple “I don’t like it”, because objectively you can’t say that it was a disaster!
And c’mon people don’t tell me that you didn’t get emotional when they’re singing “chasing cars” or “how to save a life” and Callie is in danger!
I’m going to end this long comment saying that my favourite of the night were Sara Ramirez, Ellen Pompeo and Jessica Capshaw.

Good lord this is awful! I'm watching on DVR. I used to love this show with a grand passion in seasons one and two. Once it started using the plinkety plink ABC music cues to highlight obvious moments of 'comedy' I started to lose enthusiasm but have loyally stuck with it through the Denny ghost debacle (an ultra low moment) and the repetitious gunshot traumas. This episode hits an all time low. It's a tonal hideous mish mash. How can we feel anything serious whatsoever about prospectively losing Callie and child with the cast cavorting around in scrubs behind like a low-fi version of 'Rent?" Shonda and staff -- come on! America (and other syndicated nations) deserve less obvious and trite programming! I wonder how anyone kept a straight face when someone pitched the car floating through the clouds beat:)

I enjoyed this episode a lot (it wasn't epic to me) At first I was confused with some songs (like runnin on sunshine????) but it's from callie's point of view so that makes a lot more sense. I am in love with Sara Ramirez's voice and the cast sang well for a musical. This is by no means glee or any other TV musical like ppl have been saying. If you were following for the SL and dialogue that may have been a reason ppl didn't like it or other things but I enjoyed it. The only thing that should have be done differently was space out the songs better or take out some of the songs but that's it. I appreciate music and the cast did a good job

Okay so there seems to be a lot of close-minded
people out there who don't like change, and that's
okay, but no matter what you think, Sara Ramirez
was absolutly amazing! You could only dream of
singing like her. I think it was fresh and new!
So there.

Worst scripted TV show Ive ever seen, featuring the worst performance, Sara Ramirez, and the worst supporting performance,
Kevin McKidd. Almost unwatchable--whose idea was this, anyway?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO terrible. Worst idea ever. I have been watching Grey's ever since it started and this was the worst episode I have ever seen. I couldn't even get through it, had to turn it off. They're good singers but a terrible idea. Doesn't go with the show.

Leave Glee to Glee. Are you so desperate for ratings that you have to make this otherwise great show, a musical medical. Pathetic attempt. I'd rather not watch at all if this is what I can expect. Not well done. If you had to have someone singing, Callie should have been the only "voice" - as an out of body. To see Owen Hunt singing. . . please! Thank God they muzzled Christina.

Best scene, MerDer in the elevator, for me that stole the show. Ireally want to see a pregnant Meredith, still hoping all this misdirection means we'll get a surprise by 7.22
I can't understand why Altman got so angry at Cris finding a life saving solution for a friend's life. Perhaps this will mean Avery will be taking over from Cris as Altman's fave pupil
Lexie choosing Avery over Sloan, interesting. Long term, Avery would have to be stupid to let Lexie get away from him. Why do we need kepner, she was so insignifacant to this episode, I just kept thinking why does she need to be in GA??

I found this episode very difficult to watch, I wanted to hear the medical narative, not KmK and others ruining perfectly good songs. The only song I enjoyed was the low key GA original theme music sung at the beginning of the episode. The lyrics were appropriate to the scene. I hope that we never see another GA musical episode ever again! Got to listen to the original songs to get over the cast singing.

Well put Jessie. Maybe if Shonda had put that explanation at the beginning, people would have been less confused and more open minded :)

Here in Australia we are a few episodes away from the musical but I have down loaded bits and pieces and I cannot wait to see the whole show wow when Callie sang with Owen and Bailey the goosebumbs stared and never stopped.
Totally agree with Jesse's comments on the show.
I believe it was the higthest rated epsodie of the season.
Breathe all the Mer and Der fans but remember S R say there are 14 other actors and actresses on the show and at some stage they all get there 5 minutes of story.

A side note: did anyone else feel as though Meredith used "universe" as a metaphor for Shonda Rimes in the elevator? Messed up random and mean is how I feel about some of the things that happens sometimes, ha, but hey, that's what keeps me coming back. :-)

wow what an absolutely beautiful episode to converge the drama of the event to callie and such perfect song choices THANK YOU
fans need to remember that this was from callies perspective not others in the cast so much and to have it all flow so smoothly also to not leave us hanging with callie in a coma bravo
sara ramirez has such a great voice her final song i listened to repeatedly i'm
hopeful i can find it to download

I think a lot of people are taking this episode too literally. As it says in the ABC summary itself..."A cataclysmic event rattles the doctors of Seattle Grace to the core as Callie, on the verge of an enormous life-changing moment with Arizona, envisions her hospital and friends as it has never-been-seen before." ....The doctors singing, the music, choreography, etc, is all how Callie's injured brain is experiencing these events as she fades in and out of consciousness. Watch the episode again, and pay close attention; all songs have a lead-in with someone talking to or around Callie. She may not actually be in their presence for the entire song, but again, she's fading in and out, therefore it makes perfect sense to me that as she's fading, she's taking words and emotions from her friends and experiencing that in her own way, in her own head. Imagine that you are seeing the episode in its entirety from Callie's injured-head point of few, and it may make more sense to you. I myself th

I cannot believe after EVERYTHING Lexie went home with Avery. We all know Lexie and Mark should be together and I HATE this lil Avery detour. It's completely pointless and depressing.
I think the singing was really good. It was also a little weird but somehow it worked. The songs reflected the events that were happening and Runnin' On Sunshine was a nice bit of, well, sunshine, in a very intense episode. Do I want to see it all the time... no. Was it a nice random occurrence... definitely.

this show was legitimately embarrassing. I couldn't stop laughing and I hope they never do this again. Obviously those actors went in to TV instead of music for a reason. I'm the biggest Greys fan ever but the episode was the worst thing I have ever seen

I hated this eposide!!! The singing crap messed everthing up! I seen every eposide from season 1 to 6 on netflicks back to back then season 7 on hulu plus until i got caught up. If they ever do another eposide like this i will not watch this show again this is the worst eposide i have ever seen on the show i couldn't even get into what was happening cause of the friggen music. (DONT EVER DO ANOTHER MUSICAL AGAIN!!!)

Might I also note that yeah maybe not
all of them were some bi American idol stars
at least they sang. I mean, it would of been
stupid if only 2 people sang. You gotta give
them credit for stepping outside their comfort
zone and trying something a little different.
I don't k ow about you but I would be terrifyed
if somewone told me I would be singing on
tv, and I am somewhat of a decent singer. So all I am getting too is that you have to give them and A+
for effort! (and there were some amazing singers)

I absolutly loved this episode! Sara was
amazing along with the rest of the songs.
I don't really watch a lot of musicals so
this was kind of new for me, honestly I
thought it would be lame but it was beautiful
an all the songs were perfect. I also loved
that Kate Walsh was back for an episode!
Although I wish they would of sang the song
Keep Breathing by Ingrid Michaelson instead
of Breathe, and I was so amazed of some of the
talent that was showcased throughout the episode
by all the different character! Great Job!!!!!!!!!
