It may be the most anticipated new show of 2011, and now it has an official poster.

On April 17, HBO will debut Game of Thrones, a drama based on the book series by series by George R. R. Martin.

In the following poster, we see Sean Bean as Eddard Stark, the Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the frosty North. He'll be drawn into the power plays against his old friend, King Robert Baratheon.
