NCIS Spoilers: Season Finale Serial Killer Details!

by at . Comments

NCIS' eighth season will conclude with a dramatic serial killer plot that spans several episodes, beginning April 5. TV Line unearthed some interesting details today.

A psychopath dubbed the Port-to-Port Killer is at the center of the story arc, and this is one formidable adversary. Possibly even more so than the Reynosa Cartel.

We say that because Gibbs will expand the team to combat him.

At least two new special agents will soon be introduced to assist with the case.

One of the two new recurring characters is described as “a well-traveled, experienced federal agent who is happy to be reunited with his team in their new DC home.”

Presumably, this is in addition to Sarah Jane Morris' character, E.J. Barrett.

Morris' newly-introduced character just arrived from overseas in this week's NCIS episode, leaving quite an impression on Tony and causing a stir among many fans.

Michael Weatherly (Tony) previously said that Morris’ Special Agent will “arc out toward the end of [the] season and be a part of that epic season-finale situation.”

The cast is under contract for next season, but do you think the serial killer will claim the life of one of our team members? Or E.J.? Sound off in the comments!

Well, now you have made me mad. Why kill Franks, he was one of the good guys. You have lost a fan. Why couldn't you kill off Vance.

I hope it's EJ....They just can't mess with Gibbs and the appears it's going to be Mike Franks...I hate that also, but it's not like he's a "regular".....

It is Mike. Starts off great, watch it. Mike Franks. Strike out at Gibbs. Reminded me of 6th Sense.

I hope they don't kill off one of the main characters, I mean, they already took the life of one of their characters early in the series run, and another one a few years later, they don't have anything else to prove. Every show needs to take some pointers from ER in what NOT to do. That show lost its entire original cast, had a high frequency of character deaths, and got very gimmicky towards the end (helicopter crashes, plane crashes, ambulance bombing, shootout, you name it, they did it). If NCIS kills any of their main characters especially McGee and Tony, then they are setting themselves up for ruin. Fans can only take so much abuse from the producers and writers. We don't like being treated like morons who will still tune in when the show stops being what it once was.

McGee is probably going to die. He foreshadowed his death in the last episode the same way that Kate foreshadowed her own. I hope I'm wrong, but rewatch the last episode. He says something like, "What would you do if someone slit my throat?" Kate made a comment about being shot about an episode or so before she was shot :(

So they release a 1:30 sneak peak video. They did start this hype by saying lots of death in the end (and there are more than 2), they show gibbs being talked to by franks who is not there when he sits down. So we get to hear and see gibbs' gut talking to him. So the body they find is franks, that goes w/out saying, but from the preview and gibbs closing the m.e. door, after seeing the fight scene in which you can clearly see someone getting stabbed when they go down, someone on the team gets it, it has to be since when they go out to the body, it's daytime AND the road they are parked on is different. The fight scene is at night, in the rain, and on a different street. It's tony who keeps talking about the rain & takes the umbrella, he gets it in the fight, which is fine, time for someone new anyway. The promo pics for 'pyramid' are accurate, except it's going to be one of those '24 hours earlier' scene compilations. And oh btw, ziva is shot & injured. - G.G.

Do not mess with the best show on tv. There is no better cast together than what they have now. I watch all the reruns on usa and even though i have seen them 50 times each, they never get old esp the ones with ziva. Gibbs is the BEST and the heart of the show.

They should put Justin Bieber on NCIS as one of the Port-to-Port Killer's victim's. Now that would definetly be the most popular episode ever on NCIS! and one that i would watch!

looking at tomorrow nights preview the person facing the camera appears to be wearing cowboy boots. The only one on the show to wear cowboys boots has been Franks.

Who is the guy around :10 in the black jacket walking slowly in the rain, it almost looks like McGee?

NCIS Quotes

McGee: All right. Well you should probably know that Abby and I used to date?
Bishop: Ew. Like, each other?
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: Wait - isn't that a violation of rule 12, never date a....
McGee: It was a long time ago. After we'd broken up, one night I went to her lab. Found a scribbled piece paper; a list. Potential boyfriends had to fulfill certain conditions by a pre-arranged date or else, goodbye.
Bishop: Such as.
McGee: Things started off relatively normal: opening the door for her, flowers, putting the seat down. Then around number 8, it gets uh...
Bishop: What?
McGee: Does she know you have these?
Bishop: Does she know you have these?
McGee: Yeah she wasn't happy when she found out.
Bishop: These are all very specific.
McGee: Yeah.
Bishop: These ideas apply to you?
McGee: No those rules weren't in place when we were together. At least I don't think so.
Bishop: What's with the two month cutoff? Abby's sabotaging herself. I've seen stuff like this before. We have to talk to her.

McGee: You know something I don't? Working tonight and tomorrow night?
Tony: No, Tim. It's just that Zoe's parents are in town and they want to have dinner. I'm not ready for that.
Abby: So you deceived her.
Tony: I was put on the spot. I was not prepared.
McGee: Whoa. Hey. What are you afraid of?
Tony: I don't know.
Abby: They're probably really nice.
Tony: I'm sure they are. I've just never had dinner with the parents of a woman I'm seriously involved with.
McGee: That's not true. What about Jon Benois?
Tony: No, technically that wasn't me because I was undercover as Tony DiNardo, professor of film studies. I wasn't myself back then. Meeting the parents for dinner could trigger a whole chain of events.
Abby: It's just dinner, Tony.
Tony: You have dinner yet with Ranger Burt's parents? I didn't think so. Then put down the gavel, take off the robe and stop judging, both of you.
Abby: Okay.
