Please get rid of the new chick, I cant stand her. If she must be involved for a while make her the serial killer, she looks like she's hiding something anyways. I hope none of the main characters get killed off except maybe Vance, he can go. I love Ziva, Tony, Gibbs, Abby and McGee (in that order) the most so Im hoping nothing happens to any of them. I hated Kate so I was very happy they brought Ziva in. I likes her right away, plus she and Tony are hot together they need some more fake marriage assignments its obvious they want each other. I also like when Abby and McGee were together as short as it was, they are cute around each other.

Interesting. I always kind of hoped for a serial killer plot line. For it to work though, someone from the cast would need to be killed off. To make it emotional, it should be a regular cast member or someone close to the team. I actually liked the new character coming on to the show--EJ brought a new dynamic, even though I did think she was annoying but she brought out other emotions in Tony that dealt way back when he declined the position in Rota. I do not like Ziva, so I would be okay if she got killed off but I know that wouldn't happen because she already has a 2+ year contract again. So if someone had to die I think Vance would be a good choice; and I think a major injury/incident should happen to one of the main cast members to make it a multi-arc storyline.

I agree with most everyone, get rid of E.J. and Vance(he's a pain in the butt). The show needs another female director to shake things up a bit. Just love all the regular characters, but we need to see some of the old semi-regulars again like Fornell, Gibb's dad and especially Trent Kort. Really miss him on the show. Always a little more fun when these characters are on.

The two people you can Kill off and not upset viewers are 1) Director Vance (this leaves Gibbs to become director and EJ to become a team member with Tony in charge). 2) Duckies assistant Palmer. Can always get a new assistant without upsetting teh "fans".

I won`t stop watching NCIS because of EJ witch I hope shes the one killed off. I don`t want Ziva to be killed off I may watch it still but it will leave a big whole in the show.

whats wrong with people saying they wont watch ncis because of EJ dont be so childish i hope she stays puts a bit of spark into the episodes.now for the finale ive got a feeling ziva will get killed that would be something else because without ziva dont think ncis would survive.

Please kill off EJ. She is probably the worst casting addition since Rena Sofer. Why do they hook up Gibbs and DiNozzo with such cold hearted women. I hated Morris in Brothers and Sisters. She was a selfish, cold, bad actress. Surprised NCIS brought her to the show. Can't we find Gibbs or Tony a normal women. ALso it maked Tony look bad because he is seeing someone he is working with. Just not a good move.

I really hope this show is smarter than a cliffhanger of the cold annoying new actress EJ getting killed and Tony contemplating to leave. That really is lame.

Another thing: I do think it's possible Gibbs will retire, becoming only a guest star on the show. I'd like to see him helping on a case when he's not supposed to :D I also think people should be more open to EJ; this is just ONE episode in which she was incredibly annoying. No one liked Ziva to begin with either. And if Gibbs does retire, that makes it possible that Tony might stay. So, I think either we'll lose EJ completely or Gibbs to part-time.
As for the change of character in Ziva, I agree that I liked her better before. But you're right, people do change. If they don't, the show becomes unrealistic and boring.
Lastly, for the comment on DiNozzo; I see his jokes as a way to keep the atmosphere light in a dark situation. I think the team doesn't always realize what he does for him. Maybe they will once he thinks about leaving seriously.

I haven't read the other comments, but this is my prediction:
Tony and EJ will get close and start to care for each other much more than the rest of the team would like, possibly causing a major rift b/w Tony and the rest. Then of course, EJ will be targeted by the serial killer... Either she'll die or close to it. Either way Tony will contemplate leaving the team, encouraged by EJ to move on in his life... I don't like her much now, but hopefully we'll see a better side of her. :)

Michael, I suppose you are addressing your comments to me. I do not subscribe to the theory that the only true fans are those who worship blindly at the altar of their favorite programs. I have a critical eye, and I exercise it. Nothing will ever improve if everyone just says that it is already perfect.
Mark Harmon and William Peterson are two very different individuals. I do Mr. Harmon the courtesy of assuming that his word is good.

Here in Aussie, we too love NCIS,love the story lines, and the by play witin & between characters, but new people have to be introduced every so often or story lines will get too boring & stale! And of course when THEY get killed off, and not our "family" it makes it all ok!

People thinking they will get rid of Mark Harmon, get real! He just signed a contract for two more years.
I could well do without Director Vance. I still do not trust the character -- I have worked for people like him. Loyalty SHOULD go both ways -- to and from the managers. Vance has no loyalty to anyone except his wife and children. Any subordinate who expects Vance to have their back is deluded. Vance has his own back, only. And perhaps Eli David's back. I would never trust him if he was real, and in my life in any way.
I did not start watching this program until my father led me to it -- and at that point Kate was already gone. I have the DVD's, and I have seen her character. I don't understand why everyone is so in love with her. I thought she was rather tiresome and naive.
I preferred Ziva a few seasons ago to Ziva now, but people change, so characters on an evolving show should also change.

PLEASE, producers, DO NOT mess up the family of team members! When this "EJ" came on set on Tuesday, I went "Go away!" I love the show the way it is!!!!!! Let EJ be the one to be the one to go in the season finale!!!!!!! My family watches NCIS all day on cable when they have marathons, and more and more people are that I talk to...the show's popularity will only grow if they don't mess with the awewome thing they have going!

If they want NCIS to stay number 1, then they can't really kill any of the main characters. They'll loose AT LEAST 6-8 million viewers.

I really hope they do not mess with a good thing! I do not guess they realize that they wanted us to believe that they were a family and they did!They introduced them into our families and that has made them sucessful! This is a show that my entire family hurries home so we can all watch together.Including my 10 grandaughter that loves Abby and now has her own Bert.I love that! Now we have found they we stay put and watch NCIS LA. Please do not mess with the our fave Bullpen team.I never understood why it is demed that someone has to be killed off anyway.I enjoy the show because of the interaction between characters and the way they work as a them to solve the cases.As far as relationships go~ I think it would be interesting to see how a married person deals with the long ours etc,Tony and Ziva could be secretly already married(Why Not)A sweet kiss and a shutting of the bedroom door is all my family needs to see Thank you!Plus I am a hopeless romantic (married 30 years) and would like
