Song Beneath the Song: Behind the Scenes of Grey's Anatomy

by at . Comments

This behind-the-scenes look at the Grey's Anatomy musical event has actually been out there for a few weeks, but it's surfaced again with the March 31 episode drawing closer.

The episode, "Song Beneath the Song," took 2-3 times longer than it typically takes the crew to produce an episode of the ABC drama, and this feature gives you an idea why.

Grey's Anatomy returns a week after this Thursday (March 24) with "This Is How We Do It." Then it's on to the most talked-about episode of the season, previewed here ...

I don't see anyone bitching and whining, no one is commenting on whether is good or bad. I agree with Jude, the prep time for the musical took too long that it why we only going to have 22 episodes this season. So I rather 24 episodes than another musical episode.

If you all don't think U will like the episode then why watch it? I personally think it is going to be great. The episode isn't a musical. It is and musical event. Sara Ramirez, Chandra Wilson, Kevin Mc Kid are all every good singers and Jcap worked with a voice coach and will be singing with Sara. And others from the cast will sing too. From what I understand the episode will be told from Callie's coma/dream state. And MerDer will have scenes in the episode. I guess what I wanted to say. Is don't pass judgement on the episode. Until you have seen it. And then bitch and whine. LOL!!!

I would rather GA didn't do another musical episode again. I vote for more episodes rather than the 'musical' that has over absorbed all this prep time. It will still only end up as an episode of 42 mins (approx)
