I was really looking forward to this episode for ages- and it finally aired and it didn't disappoint :) I basically just couldn't wait to see the actors and actresses in my favourite show belt out their singing talents- and they were great! Sara Ramirez of course has an amazing voice- but Chyler Leigh was great too- love her. My favourite songs were Chasing Cars, How To Save A Life, Grace, and the Story.
I liked this episode, and am just glad that Callie and the baby are both ok for now... The singing doesn't bother me at all, in fact I liked the singing- but maybe it's because I am a fan of musicals (read: I love Glee too).

I watched it on Thursday and then watched it again on Friday night (DVR). i wanted to make sure I gave the episode the best assessment I could before I commented. Sara Ramirez has an incredible voice and talent as a singer. I was even pleasantly surprised at Kevin McKid's vocal talents. Strong honorable mentions to Chandra, Chyler and Jessica for thier vocal performances.I found myself singing along with them during the storyline. Do I want another episode like this? No. Do I like musicals? Never have and probably never will. But I do appreciate the creative aspect that was presented for this episode. I am glad it is over and that GA will continue to be my favorite show.

It was a GREAT episode for me. It was GREAT to see that these people we are admiring cannot only act. They've shown their singing abilities very well. It was Great to find out how brilliant Ms. Rhimes & Co. for doing this and thinking out of the box.
I just don't get why others are complaining about too much song/singing in this episode. It's called a Musical what do we expect?

I liked the musical episode. Really suprised at how many have forgotten or simply have never seen any of the musicals in our Classic Movies...."Wizard of Oz", "Chicago", "South Pacific", "Oklahoma", "Flower Drum Song" or "White Christmas"...Even Disney has used musicals with "Mary Poppins", "The Lion King", and "Tarzan"...It is time we as Americans get some class and find some culture for those of us who are below the age 0f 40...Words don't always reach the core of a person like music can. Five for Fighting has a great song "One Hundred Years"..."just breathe" is an awesome song. When you hear a song you are immediately taken back to an important time in your life....So let's grow up guys and appreciate a change in one of our favorite shows. Don't be so crititcal...Watch the episode again and listen to the words in the songs...I believe you will appreciate it much better. It is so easy to be critical. Critical and ugly remarks show selfishness, egotisical thinking and portray us as Snobs...Like our European friends believe we are.

I'm a bit late, but I kept laughing when they would start singing. Completely cheesy, the only scene that I would let slide is the last number. And every time they did a close up on a character, I would pout and wonder if they were going to start singing again. :(

For all the haters...think about this: There are musical scores in most movies and most dramas, such as Grey's Anatomy. These songs are sung by whoever made them hits to start with on a normal program. They are put there, in the background to help create a feeling. This time, they had the characters singing those same songs in the appropriate places. That's the only difference. It was a fun change, that's all. Not something to happen every week, so get over it. You can like it or hate it, it's simply a personal preference. Anyway, how often do we have a song or two running through our minds as we go about our days? On my wedding day, I kept hearing in my mind, "Going to the Chapel, and I'm gonna get married" And sometimes I even sang a line here and there. try getting it out of your heads!

I am not sure anything could have been more contrived and painful to watch. I almost quit watching last season but I actually thought the show was on an upswing with the emotional episodes post shooting. But now it seems they have fallen back on bedhopping and

Thank God for fast fwd on the remote!!! This episode was terrible!!!

I'm watching it right now on my DVR and so far, I have fast forwarded whenever they break out in song. whoever decided to do this should be FIRED!! This is an AWFUL episode. As someone else commented, if I wanted to watch GLEE, I would watch it, but I don't like it. They took a special episode and turned it into absolute GARBAGE!! Hope they don't do this again.

I am a big fan of the show. However, if they do this crap again, I will be a Big X-Fan of the show. I can't believe they tried this. Haven't seen anything this bad since Cop Rock. Incidentally, that show didn't last very long. I watched it once and couldn't believe my eyes. Kind of like last night.

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

Did you say it? 'I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life.' Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow."

Meredith (closing voiceover)

Burke was- He took something from me. He took little pieces of me, little pieces over time, so small I didn't even notice, you know? He wanted me to be something I wasn't, and I made myself into what he wanted. One day I was me Cristina Yang, and then suddenly I was lying for him, and jeopardizing my career, and agreeing to be married and wearing a ring, and being a bride. Until I was standing there in a wedding dress with no eyebrows, and I wasn't Cristina Yang anymore. And even then, I would've married him. I would have. I lost myself for a long time. And now that I'm finally me again, I can't. I love you. I love you more than I loved Burke. I love you. And that scares the crap out of me because when you asked me to ignore Teddy's page, you took a piece of me, and I let you. And that will never happen again.
