And by main characters I hope they include Katherine, Jenna, Isobel, John, Liz, Alaric, Mrs Lockwood and Jules. I would still watch if any of these characters died and would still watch if they killed Matt off.

If it's Damon, Caroline, Tyler, Stefan, Elena or Bonnie. I'm would be to heart broken to ever watch another episode ever again!

I'm just realy hoping that Tyler and Katherine don't die. Their are also a few other characters that I don't want to die, like: Caroline, Stefan, and Alaric.

My guess is Sheriff Forbes, Jenna and Matt.

I think Elena will die and be brought back as a vamp. I mean, the show can't exactly follow her to college. The whole immediacy of the Delena/Stelena love triangle would be ruined.
Noooooo they better not how will the show gonna I couldn't picture the show without any key character I mean Jeremy ehhhh not sure I would care but everyone else its just season 2 can't wait to see how they do future finales

Klaus, obviously. Them killing off Elena and bringing her back as a vampire is not that hard to see. It was a HUGE part of the books, and it's reached a point in the show where they need a major change for season 3. The third person? Katherine maybe.
Omg nooooo 3 is too much !! :( i don't want any caracter to die :( i think i'm going to be heartbroken by the end of this season.

I have a bad feeling that 2 of them will be Caroline and Tyler. I really hope this doesn't happen though because I love those 2 and I'm a die-hard Caroline fan.

Abbyy, It's obvious elena is not going to die she is one of the main characters the center of the story is her relationship with stefan, damon and her problems..
