to all the chair haters who constantly find ways to make chuck look like the bad guy: to put it bluntly, SMD. you can argue and deny all you want about what's right and wrong, all the mistakes chuck's made, how many times he's hurt blair, and the kind of person he is, but the truth of the matter is:THEY BELONG TOGETHER. END OF STORY. do u think it's a coincidence that everytime one of them does something to mess up their relationship, they always end up finding their way back to each other? NO. it's a type of "foreshadowing" i guess you could say that authors and writers use called symbolism. the way chuck keeps constantly messing up and the way blair resists but eventually gives into him is supposed to symbolize TRUE LOVE. the idea that when you truly love someone, you constantly make excuses for that person when they make mistakes, that no matter how much you try and fight it you know that you'll never stop loving them because their imperfections are exactly what made you fall in lov

@amanda I think Chuck was doing more than just foaming at the mouth, did you see how crazy he looked through most of that promo?? But I'm thrilled Chuck is always sexier when he's plotting for Blair. Remember season 1 and 2??? :D
I can see Blair getting married in a Jewish fashion because of Cyrus and his influence over her...Remember? The guy got her to actually EAT, a bagel none-the-less. But the spoilers have been saying that Blair will get engaged and I doubt Blair would get married in black. I agree that its a Jenny thing to do and Blair likes tradition, she'd think it was bad luck to have a black wedding dress.
Dair is done, sorry fans but it is. He's going to end up with Charlie, at least for now. The hinting the previous ep is enough to know that.
Louis can't last because he lives in Europe, Blair loves New York. And you can't have Blair leave the show!!! She's the best part!!! But I do think Blair will momentarily surcome to shallow temptation and agree to marry him,
IF YOU WERE SMART AND LOGICALL YOU WOULD'VE SEEN THAT:
1. The probaly staged for attention scene with Blair and Chuck doing the Hava Nagila, which by the way is meant for the bride and groom.
2. Blair would never wear black to her wedding. She may be ballsy but she's a dictator of style. Maybe Jenny, but not Blair.
3. This Jewish wedding thing has to do with Cyrus or some relative of his, and this ceremony or the after ceremony (or pre ceremony, who knows with these people?) is held at the Waldorf's (those red-ish pillars are iconic by now), and there she's on the arms of Prince Louis. So their family will have Chuck and Blair do some untraditional and awakward before Blair's new love interest? Really?
4. Look for this video on youtube or dailymotion where it is shown with higher quality, if you look carefully you can see that the two canoodling in the dark are Dand and cousin Charlie (that skank!).
Have a nice day! :)

I've never commented here and u guys are crazy but...I want to see where "Dair" goes, I'm tired of all the men falling for Serena. I might want "Chair" endgame but I want Dair to scare Chuck. Blair deserves to have him foaming at the mouth and green eyed for a WHILE. Who knows, I might even be into Dair longterm who knows?!!!
i am definitely a chair supporter and hope that they get engaged this season, but i heard that clemency posey is returning. could chuck be proposing to eva?!

Blair and Chuck will get married! I have four pieces of evidence:
1. In the spoiler picture, Blair and Chuck are sitting on chairs, which are lifted by the crowd, and their hands are bound together by a handerchief. This is a traditional dance called the "Hava Nagila" done at Jewish WEDDINGS!
2. In the 2 minute promo/trailer, Blair is seen gleeful and dancing, enclosed in a circle of people also dancing, with attention drawn to her, around her. This is also a traditional dance at Jewish WEDDINGS! It is called "the gladdening of the bride".
3. Blair wears the same dress in both these scenarios/images.
4. The whole Jewish concept makes sense as Blair's stepfather, Cyrus Rose, is Jewish.

This is definitely the best GG trailer yet. Can't wait to see what happens. I don't even know who I want Blair to end up with anymore. I do want to see more Dair, Blair deserves a real second candidate for her affection and Dan is that person. Louie doesn't do for me what he's probably supposed to, I think it's miscast.
omg. I cant wait for this episode:))), i know she will choose Chuck in the end

Im pretty sure its Dan and someone in that sexscene. If you pause you can tell its him. And it might be Blair but it could also be The cousin Charlie?? What do you guys think?
chairfan
April 17th, 2011 12:45 PM
the sex scene is confusing because both chuck and dan are wearing white shirts at the party (i assume the sex happens at some party?) but my money is that its chuck and blair, as a last-time-goodbye-but-i-love-you thing, after he tells he how he really feels. but she'll still get engaged to the prince because the intensity between her and chuck scares her. then season 5 will be chuck maturing, winning back his business and fortune and eventually fidning his way back to her.
i think she and dan will evolve to being friends, good supportive close friends.

Well Observer I respect your point of view and I get where you're coming from, I think is the same place that makes me say that I don't trust these producers. The only thing I don't see the same way is the Dair foreshadowing, who knows, maybe because I was more Dan Serena focused, I do admit is possible that the writers planned this sex circle all along and foreshadowed all the couples but I never imagined they would pull something like this. I do want to clear that my support to Chuck and Blair isn't because of the sex but I understand why you think this of their fans because some are quite fixated with that, just want to say we are not all like that.

I know people like drama, and Gossip Girl is a 180 from 7th heaven, but there drama and then there is this.
The writers have made it even worse by saying Chuck doesn't need reedemption (IMO, he needs it bad and of the divine kind. Yeah, yeah horrible joke). He DOES need it, and just cause he drops the 'because I'm Chuck Bass' catch phrase to get away with half the things he pulls, it doesn't mean it okay. Somehow, i think the writers are determined to make him evil short of the devil in a 'oops did we do that for dramatic effect?' kind of way. Like the hotel exchange (jump-the-shark), sleeping with Jenny (jump-the-shark). But then again, maybe that's what he needs do hit rock (basement-like) bottom, for him to realize that he's lost everything and needs to change. The the writers can oh disappoint us further, and have Blair pick him up again.
You know what Chuck needs a girl who won't put up with his crap. Someone who isn't an enabler to his darkness. Because Blair enables it. D

We've seen enough of Chuck & Blair, their failed relationship and their games. It's time for to choose someone else. Someone like Dan. They're total opposites & opposites attract. Unlike Chuck & Blair, they're too much alike which forces them to clash all the time. You got to admit, Dair are the cutest! I would of never of thought that they would ever get together, but now that they have, I can't get enough of them. I just want to see what happens!
I nearly cried when I saw Chuck with the ♥ring♥. "I'm Chuck Bass the love of her life." "Everything that's ever been real has been you." Blair seoursliy you're really realy dumb if you think that you could manage without Chuck! ;DDD The only one who understands her who fixed her in every dificult situation of her life. I kinnda like Dair but the haven't got enough chemistry together. Friends, nothing more. All Dair fans must admit that Chuck and Blair -even if they suck sometimes- are very much connected. They simply NEED to be together. Prince Louis well sweet guy but he is not nearly as strong enough to be with QUEEN B.

I will admit that Gossip Girl has become to angsty for a show targeted to a young audience, I found this to be true not only for Chuck and Blair but for the whole show, but still this is the writers/producers fault for the ludicrous storylines they show us, I don't blame the characters for it, that's why this doesn't interfere with my support for Chuck and Blair. The way I see, the production of this show can't have my trust, not only for what they have done to this show, but also because they ruined The O.C. (even if Misha Barton was going balistic they didn't have to kill her character), which is why when I see certain storylines all the alarm bells start ringing in my head.

But thats exactly it... I find Chuck really unentertaining to watch. He never offers up that cheeky humor from season 1 & 2. Its all silly drama now, repeated over and over and its dull.
Dan and Blair have entertained me far more last few episodes and that is why I support that shoreline- its so much better written.
Of course none of it is realistic, I don't want it to be. But it does need to be fun, humorous and balance the heavy drama with some light wit. That's what entertainment is all about.
