Tonight's episode was a huge disappoinment! I have never been more upset at GG producers! I hate Serena, Chuck, and the new chick Charlie! Boring storylines all around. I was only interested in The Dair storyline and now I'm left with one less show to look forward to watching. Oh wells Dancing with the stars will occupy my Monday nights now. Go ABC!!! Way better that the CW...stupid network with stupid shows!
The only thing I loved about this episode was the Dair moments. Dan was so happy around Blair!!!! As for Charlie, I have a feeling she is bi-polar or something along those lines...her mother was very concerned and told Lily to watch her. Hopefully next week is better, wasn't too fond of tonights ending.

Oh, I do think Blair has feelings for Dan. She's just in denial. Why would she be languishing in bed for a week if the big "revelation" was really that she was supposed to be with Chuck? She already knows that. They already said as much to each other just recently, when Blair decided she needed to become powerful in her own right before returning to a relationship with Chuck.
The only upsetting thing would be to discover that Dan was actually exciting, and the obvious cure would be to rekindle things with Chuck, quickly! I think she was only so vehement in her denials about Dan because she didn't like the fact that Dorota sussed her out so easily, and the truth hurts. Blair obviously was a little miffed to hear Dan say that the kiss meant nothing, too... Dan's little sad eyes were just heartbreaking, when he realized Blair didn't actually like him.
What did Chuck do that was so bad? Seriously, one has to ask?! Blair thought that Epperly actually wanted her because she was talente

I really liked the Lily and Aunt Carol relationship since they both still cared and love each other despite the strained occurrences in both of their lives.
Charlie seems like a crazy chick, its like how I met Your Mother and the crazy eyes. I saw those swirling red depths on that pretty make up caked face of hers.
I am upset by how the creators/directors took Dan and Blair's kiss. But I was impressed when Dan said that the kiss was nothing and Blair seemed disappointed noting by her facial features. The whole Chuck fiasco seems pretty "Lets go back to scheming again" trait.

Sigh..i'm so disappointed at tonight ep. esp the way they handled the Blair/Dan kiss; and chair.
Can the person who did the 'epic promo' to be the producer/ director of the show ? He/she clearly knows what the audience wants and how to create the hype!

This episode was much more eventful than recent episodes. I really enjoyed it, every aspect, every new character.
I was not surprised to see that Blair has no feelings for Dan, yet Dan has a crush on Blair. It seems that everytime Dan "kisses" someon, he is smitten by them! I was in pain, utter pain, watching Chuck alone in that portrait - What happened to Blair saying "I will always be your family Chuck". And for heaven's sake, what was so bad about what Chuck did tonight? Sure I'm all for Blair's happiness but she irritated me on two fronts tonight. She was in bed whining over a toad's "kiss" when her supposed best friend needed support bcause her mom is potentially going to jail-WTF is more important? Then, she scolds the "love of her life" for immaturity???
Make up your mind girl as to what and who you want!!!

I think I need to remember that the "epic" promo set up stuff that's still yet to come and as the lovely reviewer pointed out, this episode is meant to set up the plotlines for the season's final epsiodes. I was actually taken by surprise on Blair's lack of feelings for Dan, I was sure that the kiss meant she discovered she had feelings for him. But she loves Chuck and as big of a Chair shipper as I am, I'm really glad they didn't get back together in this episode but instead took the opportunity to have Blair detail Chuck's immaturities. Now let's have him own up to them and we'll be set. Course, I'm eager to see how the prince fits into all this.
I didn't mind the adults' drama, but (as ususal) it's never as interesing as the younger set's. I am intrigued to know what Charlie's secret is. Oh and on a symbolic note, how sad was it to see Chuck's photo of him all by his lonesome? To add insult to injury, when Lily gleefully proclaims that she wants a family photo she seems to for

My thoughts on the episode, Blair doesn't have any romantic feelings for Dan. I'm a chair fan, but I would say if I saw anything in her eyes or the way she looked at him, and I didn't. I did see it in Dan's eyes though.
Blair defended Dan to Chuck so I think they could actually be good friends if they allowed themselves to be. She told Dan he has a princess waiting for him, so she thinks he belongs with Serena. (I agree)
Next thing Chuck needs to redeem himself in Blair's eyes so she can see that he's ready for a real relationship with her. I felt so bad for him looking so alone in that picture then the van der woodsen family didn't include him in the family pic, was just sadder. Anway, I'm thinking that the next episode the prince comes and she jumps at the chance for her fairytale but she won't really be in love with him since she admitted herself in this episode that she had already chosen chuck and said he was her prince, so those feelings dont go away overnight. We just have to

I guess I'm one of the only viewers who really loved this episode!
Even though I was rooting for some uber-romantic Dair revelation only to be let down, the fact that Dan is *actually SMITTEN* with Blair - and Blair is absolutely clueless about this! -leaves the door open for a revisitation of this plotline later in the series. Perhaps when Blair finds out that he's never been able to get her or that kiss out of his head, she'll have a very different opinion about her loyal, loving Labrador. ;)
I also LOVED how hot Chuck was in the episode - like a dark Prince in that black suit and streamlined hair. Yum. I'm VERY glad to see that the writers didn't put Chair back together without more growth on his part. When Blair responded with "You've kissed lots of people", I was like DAMN STRAIGHT! He still needs some maturing time, and this epi was necessary to prove that.
I didn't mind the parental drama, either. Carol was such a lousy hypocrite, I was gleeful when Serena ratted her

i guess with all the recent promos we all had high expectations for the first episode back, which proved to be disapointing. the main focus of the episode was lily and her family, which nobody really cares about right now.
Charlie is obviously the new little J possibly with more mental problems and i don't like her.
I thought either Dan or Chuck would be perfect for Blair, and watching them both fail so miserably was just sad. yay for team louis......I guess...
and vanessa snoopin where she shouldn't doesn't surprise me. what does surprise me is that she can still reach serena, If i was serena i would of blocked her number two seasons ago

Agreed that Charlie is a pseudo-replacement for Jenny, except a replacement who is theoretically capable of hooking up with any guy on the show. She is just as drippy and boring as Serena, making it completely believable that they share some DNA. Not DAN! Just DNA. Charlie and Dan together is vomitous. What a delightful prospect to look forward to...
I honestly feel completely torn between Chuck and Dan as the right guy for Blair. You had to feel sorry for Chuck, alone in his brooding picture. If he had simply left Dan out of it, and then told Blair he wanted her to be in the picture with him, it would have been a lovely, romantic moment. I think it would have been better in the storyline to have it happen that way, and then introduce complications when Chuck finds out about the Dan kiss, and Prince Louis shows up to try to take Blair away from Chuck. They can't keep showing what a jerk Chuck really is and then expect Blair to fall into his arms in the end.
I think the episode was ok. I didnt really like the new characters, through the hints in the episode you already know Charlie is going to mean trouble. I felt so sorry for Chuck. ( I love the dress he picked out for her) But I can't wait to see what happens with the Blair/chuck/prince/dan storyline :)))

In terms of drama, this episode was a huge disappointment.
First off, there was simply too much old people drama for me. If that episode known as the one that ruined prom in season 2 (2.24) taught us anything, it is the storyline of Lily and her sister is boooooooring. I did not even like watching William and Rufrus eveing though at some points, their banters were kind of funny.
Raina and Nate…umm they are useless. But the ending proved to have potential for the future. Damn though, I am so over her.
I didn’t really care so much for Charlie. I thought this girl was too awkward and her acting skills are even worse than Serena.
Why is Vanessa telling Serena about Dan and Blair's kiss? She has no place in this situation. What, is she all of a suffen rooting for Darena???This makes no sense.
Noooooooooooo, I hate hate hate the writers for doing this. I wanted it to be Dan and Blair together and then Chuck fights for her, she falls back in love with him and Dair will never be he

I was so disappointed by the Dair.....and the Chair (even though I am not a fan) as well. The immediate summoning of the Prince seems unworthy of anybody's attention.
Telling by Aunt's Carol expression about Charlie, generates my dis-likeness that I will experience with this new character. She is just a failed attempt to reincarnate Jenny Humphrey which I prefer more than this girl.
