I have to agree with jonathan.......about the episode.....Masters was a little diversion from the Huddy drama but the script was just not up to par.....House's character did not come "alive" until the end of the episode and I would think you're only as good as the script......Not as anxious for May 2 based on preview, but am hoping for the best....still the best series on television!!!!!

This episode is exactly like that one awhile back when we saw the day through cuddy's eyes.
But I'm glad she's gone, she was annoying.

So, masters is gone. Boo.
Like her much more than 13. She had brains and was able to stand up to House. 13 is just hot chick with personality problems, and they're a dime a dozen.

Is this the last show of Season Seven?

Bye Masters, sorry you won't be missed although I like Amber's past work. Thirteen in real life was making a movie. Cutner in real life went to work at The White House...yes the big one where Obama is...wonder how working for him compares to working for House.
"out of character" for House!?! Are you kidding? It was pure House. That jackass would never last in a real hospital.
I wouldn't count on Olivia Wilde staying long. She's a hot commodity and making movies all over the place. She either came back because of contract issues or she needed a break from movie making. Check her IMDb if you don't believe me.

Eagleone, I think the word you're looking for is "temporarily".
Yeah, I know Masters was mostly there to replace 13, but this just seemed awfully rushed to me.

Masters' departure was due to Amber Tamblyn leaving the show, so I can see why the writing seemed rushed to have her leave. I thought the episode was a little too silly, and both House and Wilson seemed out of character to me...I can't honestly see Wilson agreeing to the chicken contest, and House just seemed kind of strange through the whole episode. I'm sad to see Masters go, but with the limited time the writers had, I don't think this episode was too bad.

Don't forget Amber Tamblyn was hired to replace temporairement Olivia Wilde. They have to do that «goodbye» pointless episode anyway. But last week with House and Thirteen was more fun to watch... Its always entertained to see characters outside their wall.

Hands down....EASILY the worst episode of "House" I've seen. And I've seen them all multiple times. Masters brought NOTHING to this show. I couldn't believe how boring and stale this episode was. Especially compared to House picking up 13 from prison. The good news is the most boring character in the history of House is finally gone. I just can't think of a reason she was brought on in the first place. I know every episode can't be a "House" episode but what tiny percent of the audience actually wanted to see a full episode dedicated to Masters? Hell Cutner was awesome and he just got killed off without getting his own boring finale episode. Was anyone nervous or worried about what Masters was going to decide? I mean besides people like me praying she was gone for good.

My 2cs:
- Poor, forced transition to masters leaving. Writing was pretty poor on Master's end (as usual); Amber Tamblyn did the best and then some with what she got. I mean, I can sort of buy the finally with the patient, but the other lies - white or not - are almost totally out of character and unbelievable to me. She also came off a lot less annoying in this episode while still being quirky.
- Masters and Thirteen seem to have great chemestry together, and Master's character was really underdeveloped all season; in one of the rare episodes where we get a smidgen of character development she gets booted.
- Hugh Laurie was _really_ layed back in this episode and almost out of character, especially given the gravity of what was happening. Maybe all the years of working on the show have gotten to him and he needs a swift kick in the behind from the director(s).

I thought there was to be some saucy scene between the two of them?

I thought 13 coming back and Masters leaving in the same episode was way too convenient. It just doesn't seem plausible. The chickens were funny and ridiculous, but the patient was a minor tidbit in the episode, something or someone easily forgotten.
