According to Michael Ausiello, "just because this person's eye is missing doesn't mean he/she is dead." Though he put "he/she," Ducky did say in the last new episode, "Dead Reflection," that the eye belongs to a male in his 30s. Now, if you continue on the notion that Ducky is not wrong (and he so very rarely is), this news can't help but make you wonder about the returning Trent Kort (David Dayan Fisher). He does have blue eyes, he's about that age, and if the person isn't necessarily dead, he'd definitely make sense. He has quite a history with the team. Now this doesn't mean that the person isn't dead, but it does raise the possibility. What does this mean for your list of whose eye that could be on NCIS?

The eyeball found in the drink and the eyeball Palmer used to open MTAC might not be one and the same. Obviously E.J.'s question to Palmer was regarding the feasibility of a detached eyeball being able to open the door, but what if somehow an eyeball could be created by someone with the skill of the mask maker and the false eye then used to open the door? Possible, considering the other "clues" left by the killer and there must be more to the story of that mask lab. The eyeball in the drink was a clue that the killer was going to do that.

Just throwing this out there but it could be someone from NCIS: LA. Wouldn't be the first time that one of their members gets murdered and ends up on the original :)

here's a diabolical thought. Isn't Palmers' dad some kind of expert researcher having to due with eye's, and Jimmy seems to know alot about them also. Remember ducky saying if it has do with eyes Palmer's your man. also, tony turned to palmer for advice when gibbs was gone. they could have geneticlly altered the retina of any eye to open MTAC. this may be the first of several clues pointing to the serial killer. and another thought EJ and Vance are up to no good. The coming weeks should be interesting. this is the kind of story arc that really sent the show to the top of the charts.
