Great Article Jeff. It is called CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT... Chuck is still Chuck and always will be. I love this show and I think even when it ends (10 seasons down the road)I will still watch old episodes that I own Mondays at 8. Mondays will never be the same if Chuck in cancelled.

I was one of the fans who thought Monday night would cease to mean anything if I did not have my Chuck fix.
I can't tell you that last episode that I watched. I saw the first few this season and that was about it. I kept telling myself I'd go back and catch up, but the novelty was gone.
Chuck isn't Chuck anymore. He's morphed into Charles Carmichael, super-spy who gets the girl. It's no longer a story about a nerd trying to awkwardly fit into a world that he was never meant to be in. Does he still have his nerdy moments? Yes. But nobody can say he's a full-fledged nerd anymore. He made nerds everywhere cool and now we're all just back to being nerds because our leader is one of the "Cool Kids" now.
