Reading everyone's comments, all I can think is, "I'm excited for the upcoming season!" I was
shocked at Brennan's revelation, and it left me dumbfounded. I must say though, I am very happy to hear it. Hopefully this will solidify their relationship as a couple. We will see!!!!

I know that this I am being really immature-but god I am so looking forward to next season that it is really pathetic. It is about time that the writers etc have finally got these two together (although I do agree that there could have be a little more romance but lets face it there was not that much time left)

So far on season 6 the episode that makes me cry : while bones told booth that she had missed her chances to be with booth and she cried on the car...I hope booth pull out and kissed and hug her !!!
why dont he did that?
The ending is unbelievable but yet its very cool show!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think it took the pregnancy to get them together as an official couple. I thought it was obvious from the diner scene with Max that B squared became a couple before she dropped the preggers bombshell on him. Even if they hadn't explicitly told everyone they're a couple, it looked pretty clear to me that the two of them had decided to be together. I'm basing this on the looks, dialogue between them in the diner, the sexual innuendo, and the way Booth kissed her in the bowling alley. So I don't think we need to get the idea that they only had sex once...they could have been boinking like rabbits in the days after "Hole in the Heart" for all we know.
The way Brennan phrased the baby news was just her classic formal directness. It had nothing to do with sleeping around or a sperm donor. I think Booth knew what she meant, and no way was he thinking "thank god!" when Brennan said "You're the father." He knew she wasn't sleeping with anyone else.

In response to Eric T's comment, I disagree that Brennan told Booth that he was the father because she is sleeping around. On the contrary, I think that she couldn't have known for sure (at this early stage) unless he was the only one she had slept with during the relevant time. They are NOT married. As far as we know, the first time they slept together was when Brennan went to Booth after Nigel-Murray died. She told Angela the next day. This can't have been more than a month or to ago. So if they had no sexual relationship until a month or two ago, and she turns up pregnant, depending on how far along she is Booth could very well need to be told that there wasn't someone there before him. So I thought that her telling him that he was the father was natural and appropriate. Unless she told him, he would have to wonder because they were not "a couple" in the sexual sense until very recently.

God! Relax, they're adding a baby big deal! Like that they might get together for good! It's a lot faster but's it's been 6 seasons why would you prefer one look here and there untill sweets decided to pull the therapy stunt? I rather see Booth rocking a baby to sleep or if it's a girl playing with Barbies and wearing a dress. That would be soo funny for me not to watch, and all my friends are over the moon about this!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!She's PREGNANT? What happened to the love story? They "jumped the shark" Big Time! It is a lousy idea!!! Lousy!! They could have hidden Emily Deshanel's pregnancy like other shows did. A baby? Really? Does anybody remember "Moonlighting". I was really hoping they wouldn't pull a "David and Maddie". It has been my dred since the show started, and here we are.Not happy at all!

While I'm happy for both Angela and Hodgins and Booth and Brennan, I was really let down by how poorly the reveal was handled. After an angst filled season with the love triangle of B B and H. After waiting SO LONG for a proper Love Scene between our two stars, All we get is "I'm pregnant and your the father" .... Booth smiles... fade to black..WTF! NO hugs , no kisses NOTHING!.. sheesh.. They better get it right next season, or I think I'll stop digging BONES and join the CHASE permanently. FYI It IS possible for a couple to be together and the show still keep it freshness, take a page out of the BURN NOTICE book. :)

I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for them to get together since I showed the show to my parents and i new something happened between them after Murry died..(i bawled in that episode) anyway I hope everybody is happy for them and I hope that they will stay together :)

i had stopped watching bones avidly during season 5 because it was taking sooooooo long for something to happen between b&b...i started watching again after hannah left so i'm not going to complain about how b&b got together - whatever together might be. a baby moreorless forces them to move their relationship along. yes it does suck we didn't so much as see a kiss but that's a mean way to get viewers to hook in next season (not saying i agree with it but it's something to look forward to.) i'm just happy something has happened between them and will continue next season. as for bones saying you're the father...booth kinda hesitated when she said i'm pregnant so perhaps she said it because his slight hesitation worried her. a lot of women who get pregnant that early on in an intimate relationship would reassure the guy that he's the father. roll on series 7!

I read a couple interviews with the writers/producers of Bones online that revealed a lot about what's to come. No, the ending was no a dream. No, Brennan did not use artificial insemination. Yes, something actually happened that night. I loved the ending. I don't know why people are so upset. I don't think they're going to get together in until the very end of Bones, just because the writers have said over and over how the B&B tension is what makes the show. I think they could still make the relationship work, but you know, I see what they're saying. I think the pregnancy will really move things along though. Thank god they didn't make Bones pregnant from some other man or mix the Finder with Bones. So, I am very happy with the situation.

I've watched the show since the beginning. It was never a must see TV show for me.
I first started to think it was loosing something when there was no more Gordon and there was that sissy agent.
What I saw of the end of the Grave Digger was her head being blown off. There was nothing about how they caught her, that sucked.
Unless the writters are moving towards a comedic take off of Bones, the shark has been jumped.

I watch Bones with my wife. So over the years
I got to enjoy some of the episodes and
interaction between Booth/Brennan.
I know that if my wife came to me and said she
was pregnant and that I was the father.
My reaction would be... who the hell else could
be the father. I guess Brennan was sleeping
around... maybe with the guy from The Finder.
Walter...slept with her... they both had the
hots for eachother.
So the writers have made Brennan into a
whore after 6 years and that jerk of a FBI
agent just smiles.
Please give me a break.... Bones has become
a SOAP OPERA.

It was an awesome season finale. I have been waiting forever for this!!!!!! I am so looking forward to the new season to see the two draw closer to each other and Bones becoming a more sensitive woman, but still keep her character as the sharp and witty anthropologists.

I haven´t seen the episode yet, but for what I´m reading the writers and producer totally screwed it up. I mean, what the fuck?
The ONE thing everybody spected all this years, just "isn´t necessary to show"? Sure Hanna & Booth, Bones & severals, but Booth & Brennan is = porn? What the hell does this people got in their head?.
It just so surreal... All this time, the chemistry, the glances, the "hope", everything B&B were in the first seasons, gone to hell.
All we got is, a "sleep over" and bang PREGNANT? without even a kiss, or an i love you. I mean, since when Brennan lost all her intellect and "forgot" to wear a condom, or pills or whatever.
I´m so dissapointed and angry at all this "hey, I´m pregnant". I can understand that maybe it´s all resume to Emily being uncomfortable making a love scene in her state, or maybe something interpersonal with David, but it fucked all up.
The moonlighting curse, is now a Bones curse.
What a shame...

I love the idea of them having a baby together and the plot lines that this could set up. I just hope they don't intent for her to miscarry or have any really agnsty sl again. I don't understand, however, how after they showed Booth so affectionate with Hannah, why the writers choose to keep B&B's relationship so low keyed. I mean, they could have kissed at the end...Still, I like the way the show seems to be headed, so much better than the Hannah arc

Totally caught me off guard! I'm so excited for Bones and Booth. The best season finale ever! I've watched it 3 times already. Can't wait to see what happens next year. Booth is the perfect dad and Bones will be a great eccentric mom. Don't let anything happen to that baby or their relationship. They are like family around our house. Buck and Wanda are the best undercover pair.

I've been SUCH a huge fan of Bones and I still maintain that Season 3 was the BEST season with the BEST villain and the BEST finale. However, pretty much after Season 4 I truly feel like they have dumb ed the show down. They're telling not showing by presenting random arcs in the story that have little to no contextual evidence.
Like Brennan getting pregnant. Oh, so they could mention it but they couldn't show how they got there? I agree with the previous comment, about the producers shying away from showing them in love. We can see the gravediggers head get blown off, but god forbid we ever show Booth and Brennan in bed. This culture's obsession with violence once again becomes evident.
