i think if this is merideth and derek's last season it shoulod be grey's last season as well. i think at the end of the season they should end it with a flash forward so they can wrap up all the loose ends with the characters. don't get me wrong i LOVEEEE the show. but without merideth and derek i dont see me wanting to watch the show. this show has had an amazing run. it has brought me tears and hysterical laughter and all the emotions in between. i will miss this show :)

hey guys, i dont know why some people here think this season is the last one, shonda has not said that by far, she says it well continue merith and derek contract will be renewed for 2 more seasons,and there still alot of this show left so stop saying that read blogs and twiters from shonda instead of speaking out of your butts please.

I'm so excited about the next season, but I can't believe it's going to be the last one.. Why would they shut down such a successful program? Do you know when will the 8th season begin?

I don't want Lexie and Mark to be together, Lexie deserved someone far better than the guy who acts like a dog, making so many girls pregnant. What a real jerk! It's better if she's with Alex or Jackson. ;)

Heaps of people are saying Christina and Owen should break up, but they had an awesome relationship, he was a crazy man and she's the only person he's comfortable around. They had trials and tribulations already (like he almost killed her) and they have been able to get through that, so I think they should stay together. And Derek needs to get a life, he's so annoying and stupid! He should just stop being dumb and idiotic. I understand there still needs to be drama, but theyre all getting older and more ready to settle down, so it should at least start to be a little more down to earth.

guys it was also said by shonda that by the end of season 8, one of the greys will be pregant. am hoping its merith plus april well get pregant as well maybe from alex i hope. i think that would make the best senerio woman for him or avery. am pretty sure if cristina has abortion that will kill any chances of her and owen being together. unless he comes to terms and agrees with her decision, and from there move on with there life, not every woman is cut to be a mom. me and my spouse talked about kids we dont want any. we resepect them but we dont want them. and its not a decision to be taken lightly.
Please put more light on Carrie & Arizona - I just adore them! Der and Mer should not break up - they're the red line of the series. More drama for Christina and more of Bailey and the Chief. Excellent series that I've been close to since 2006. Great work Shonda, thanks for everything.

I am so tierd of all the cast being injured or a step just before death or whatever. I mean seriouslly how often does such things happen in real life??? Never!! I guess but in greys anatomy everyone gets to be dead or revived or very ill so hopefully for the next seasons I hope that the cast will be at least safe and sound because it sarts to get to my nerves beign anxious if Derek is alive and does not answer the phone or if he fell from a clif..But for the next season I would be glad to see Mer have a child with Derek, Cristina is not that kind of person so she and Hunt should break up over the abortion while Lexie and Av should be together cause he is awsome and really into her while Mark should continue fighting for her since being such an ass twice.So the Chief Resident needs to get a boyfriend and I think she should try it again with Alex. And eventually everyone gets to be Attendings and have their own surgeries. To sum up happy endings for all the cast and NO ONE GETS TO DIE fo

I think they should not end the show but if they must move it along quick what should happen is Mer and Der should get their dream house Alex should find the love of his life(permanent)Teddy should take about two years off go some place and let cristina be head of cardio.Note that i said speed it up they could be attendings now. April should um uh well whatever. Avery should Do the hulu? (ignore the last comment) Lexie and Mark should get back together. And as for the rest, they can do whatever.

Christina and Owen need to go. They sizzled at first but they should have never got married. Owen is a mans man and needs a more feminine women. Christina needs an equal not a daddy. Alex and Christina are actually better matched and would be interesting to watch as a couple.
Lexie and Mark - eww Daddy and daughter. Yucky. Bring someone new in for Mark or put him with Callie. Now those two belong together. They understand each other and besides having hot sex they are friends.
Mer/Der belong together. Keep showing us the intricacies of their relationship and how they relate sexually now that the honeymoon period is over.
Love Teddy with her husband. Lets see that relationship heat up!!!

everyone can rest. it was said by shonda that ga was going to go on after season 8 , and this season 8 will focus on the original cast, plus patrick and ellen wont be leaving at all it was said that there contract was up and they didnt know if they will be asked back. but they well be renewed there contract, so rest assure we have at least till season 10. to see them until then watch the show and relax.

PLEASE keep greys anatomy going. Its genius writing and is the best thing on tv by far. Am absolutely hooked and feel like im a member of the team myself. By cutting the original characters it'll cease to be the grey's anatomy we've all grown to love, there is still longevity to these characters and we have a lot more to learn about them. As much as I love jackson, lexie and co, they arent established enough to take over the leading roles. Give us till season 10 AT LEAST. Or in fact keep it going forever! Let us watch meredith and derek grow old together like theyve always wanted. And let us watch Cristina's icy exterior to crumble and keep the baby. GREYS I LOVE YOU.

First, Kudos to you Shonda...you are AWESOME. I recently gotten into the show and have watched all the shows in like one week. PLEASE keep the Shepards together, get Lexie and Mark together, give Chistina therapy but keep her and Owen together also. Alex needs therapy,maybe bring anIzzie back. Miranda should marry the nurse. oh and...you can keep this so on forever, i know there are people out there, like myself that will watch it until the end of time. I LOVE THIS SHOW...SERIOUSLY!!!

We need more of callie and arizona - such strong characters and not given enough of the limelight. They have a crucial story line. I hope season 8 brings more of them together scences.

i think that Meredith should stay on the show so should Christina. If Derek is absolutely leaving then he should die off and before he do they should have a baby together then he can die i think the show would be good still. I love zoel but i want them to have there own. Christina shouldn't abort the baby. Christina and owen baby would be cute.

i would really love to see more of Callie and Arizona's relationship, and less of Mark in the picture. They are a true couple whom have overcome too many obstacles in their relationship already. Please more Callie and Arizona

I love this show... i think breaking up Meredith and Derek is a big mistake.... i really don't want this to end.... please, please don't end this ... i really love this show... Cristina has to lighten up. Alex needs a true love, Bailey is perfect, so is the chief.... i love him..... owen is ok..... basically, i would not be happy if it ended.... there are so many opportunities.... for a continuing story..... please Shonda don't do it...

I love this show and just started watching it. I'm excited for season 8 but I so hope it is not the end and I don't want Burke to come back. I hated the way he treated Cristina. I like Owen better for her.
